Ive got a orange mobile internet contract which comes with a USB dongle.
I wondered if the change in term and conditions relates to the broadband package?
I wondered if I could escape my contract?

    Cheers
    James

Technically yes, as I have a T Mobile dongle an its easy to take the sim card out of the dongle place it in a phone and make a call.
Just phone up and try it (a couple of times), the worst they can do is say no....Twice.

cancelled the other day (2nd Aug i think) .. took 2 mins but the lady said my last bill will be on the 23rd september.. i took out my contract 23rd of May...?

i gave 30days notice so shouldn't my last bill be 2nd september?

Does anyone know if the "Unlimited Data" is reducing from 500MB to 250MB? I got the text today and it only mentions calls, yet I've heard that the data limit is going to decrease as well.

Ive been told twice thats its not changing, once by the unhelpful man in disconnections and once by the very friendly and helpful women in billing.

I cancelled mine on Saturday (1st August) but my phones still working and I havent recieved my PAC yet. Is this normal?

The phone will be active till you use you pac code, I would say give it a week for your pac to turn up then phone again to see whats happening.

Call them again, I called Saturday and was told my phone would go off within 24 hours, it was still working yesterday so called again and was told they had no record of saturday's call. Had to go through it all again then, insisting I'd had a text and thankfully my phone has gone off today.

I cancelled my contract yesterday, and would be told me end date would be 3rd Sept. So i thought that the 3rd Sept is when my phone would go off??

Should it be cut earlier, even though the end date is the 3rd Sept??

    Thanks

Had the exact same problem, till it was pointed out to me on here by someone that this is wrong, (see a few pages back).

It should be 30 days from the day you cancel, so for example, i cancelled yesterday, and my last bill is the 3rd Sept. Tho not sure when they cut the phone off tho, cos mine is still running....

I rung them earlier. I had two options, cancel now disconnected tomorrow or pac code to be sent which would be valid for 30 days and would disconnect when new provider accessed it. I chose the pac code. Wasnt offered another deal no questions really asked.
