Sorry I was mixing you up with MOJT and thinking they were older.
When mine were that age I used to have a tidy up after they had gone to bed. How old is DD1?
I was really surprised when DS3 heard some music at home one day and said 'it's tidy up time' when I asked why he'd said that he said when that music came on at preschool they had to all tidy up:rotfl:

Afternoon All
Well I have just decluttered a small plate full of chips and cheese - I know, I know it is really unhealthy but cooked by DD so how could I refuse!!? :rotfl:
I have done just over half of my HHC in the kitchen when they were ready and I had ot stop. Also moved the car back outside of the house as I would like to clean it later if it does not rain.
So when I have decluttered my mug of tea I will
spend another 10 mins in kitchen
empty WM and reload
hang out washing if not raining.
then I am going to carry on with turning out cupboard in the wall. It has not been touched since I moved here 2 years ago apart from opening the door to try and cram even more stuff in there!!! I will do as Pigpen orders and bin it....promise:o
DS has shown me how to listen to music on line (spotify) - not down loaded as I am not that much of a rebel. But really enjoying listening to Tracy Chapmen and a bit of Led Zep and AC/DC...... Oh ..... my mispent youth........:rotfl::o:D

At the moment he isn't giving me anything which is the whole point.. if he was I could afford to make sure we kept the house..those figures are just what I told him he needed to pay when we first split.. until I have paid off the overdraft I can't take on anything else.
the only thing he is giving me is aggro...
Oh im sorry Piggers, I misread that - I thought thats what he was giving you; not what he was supposed to be giving you.
Just confirms my existing opinion that they are all morons.
Sorry, I do feel for you. I was in the same position as you and gave up in the end trying to force him to want to spend time with his child. Its his loss.Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

Yesterday's washing is in, folded and in the airing cupboard. Luckily none of it needed ironing, and most of my ironing has been done by my mum so I'm relatively up to date.
So I need to hang out the laundry that's in the WM, empty the DW, do the floors and head off to the shop... then have lunch when I get back.
I know the list of 5 is stopping next week, but I have already started making a list of what needs doing - including making sure I take my spare tyre in to be looked at as it's flat0 - Wash any windows in these areas that are in need (?landing if time)

eaten some fruit (weigh in Tuesday)
now I am going to have a cuppa then lunch and a nap!!Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last0 -

Good advice from Dusty there re the cuppa.
Is your washing machine empty? Gather all the clothes up and bundle them in the WM, ready to be washed.
This may not work but grab a box and see if you can get little one to put all the toys in the box for you. Lots of praise and ooooo look how fast/clever you are comments might work! Don't forget to empty the box in the toy cupboard or whereever they go when you're done, or the other flyladies will moan at me for making you make another hotspot!!!
Good luck gratefulforhelp, dont feel overwhelmed.. little steps and if you get really stuck, just stretch that cuppa tea out until its nap time for the kiddies if they still have one, then do a half hour blitz/fling/HHC
Lets us know how you get on
