What else would you suggest? What's on your dailies list?

    My list is:

Unload DW and put stuff away
empty WM and put stuff on line/maiden
put away the day before's ironing/drying which has been airing
    wash up
    wipe kitchen sides and table
    S&S toilets and sinks
General tidy around of kitchen/living room putting stuff away
empty bins and put out rubbish/recycling depending on day
Open windows in all rooms to air them - close later in the day
    turn back our bed

Right I just have the toilets and sinks to do and then I'm going to do the bathroom and have my shower

Going to s&s the kitchen and bathrooms and then start the ironing. Going up to see toots for 3 wont stay for long as she has her brother visiting later on, will update you all when I get back.

list completion I dont think it really matters how we get things done as long as we all try. We all have different jobs/families/house sizes/other commitments so its not always possible for us all to get things done on the day they are posted so lets just try and do as much as we can.

Thanks Thrifty that's how I feel and with the kids on school holidays I'm just doing what I can until they return to school. I've learnt to garden when the weather is good cause it might not be when you have time to do it. I find if I'm decluttering then it is too much to clean aswell. Likewise not everything is on the list - I've spend ages this week sorting stuff in the garage but there are no stars for that.

Have a lovely time and I hope Toots is back soon.

Rach - how are you and DH? I've not seen you post since last week when DH was not well. I really hope we did not upset you by saying he shouldn't go into work.

My ex has seen DD1 once a month for a couple of hours, since she was 3 months old...she knows intellectually what he is, but has no relationship. If financial/material gain is all the child can get from a parent who has planned to have them, then the child has an absolute right to take that, with no issue of conscience. Maybe XH wants to get money sorted out, pigpen?

My ex never sees my little one. He knows who he is, but never sees him, no birthday presents, no christmas presents, nothing. Hes had every opportunity to maintain his relationship with him, but Ive accepted I cant force it. One day it will all come to a head and LO will realise his dad is a moron, but I just need to cross that bridge when I come to it...

It is sorted.. he pays the loan (£270) (I pay the overdraft.. £167) and £100 a week for the children.. there are 7 of them so it isn't a huge amount between them.. but anything at the moment other than the nothing I am getting would be good.

though I think maintaining a relationship with the children should be a priority over the money.. or maybe it is just me that puts them first in everything.

At least he is giving you something, which like you say isnt a lot, but it is better than nothing at all.

I would be happy if my ex gave me nothing (which is exactly what I get anyway!) but he maintained his relationship with LO, if he was around for him, if he at least bothered his backside to acknowledge his birthday..... he just has no time for him at all.
Meetings with the administrators should have been available on Friday - at least given people info about what would have been available.

To be fair to them crafty, there were people available to talk to. The administrators stayed in the office as late as we wanted them to be, they had all the forms available, contacts were provided. They have set up a support group and email addresses etc. They had people to assist in filling in the forms and help with all of our claims.

But for people who didnt want to stay, they are available to set up meetings as when we are ready to do it.

At that point in the office I was so distressed I just wanted to leave. I took the forms and the contact details, cleared my desk and came home. I couldnt face it at that time.

I will follow up with them on Monday

Thifty - maiden (Lancs dialect word)
a maiden is a clothes airer or clothes horse. As I come from Lancashire we call THAT a maiden (although Dusty has aquired the term, from here from Northern flyladies). So when I iron I keep going until I fill my maiden hence a maidenful...(Tag my fellow laundry obsessive irons in batches of 15). As I don't have an airing cupboard and I use a steam iron my ironing needs to air before I put it away so that's why I stop there. Both my kids and my sisters kids use the term maiden (as in "Is my top on the maiden?" - never "I'll fill the maiden for you, mum!") but I did tell them that other people round here won't know what one is...

My mate is sending me smutty jokes and since I have FINALLY managed to assign a ring tone (and vibrate - don't do things by half, me) I have had to turn the phone off because the kids are still in bed. Pah! Lightweights. I have done 3 loads of washing (inc two lots of towels) but cannot peg it out as it's raining. Barometer has swung (only slightly though) to fair so I will wait and see rather than resorting immediately to the tumble drier.
Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY

Hope everyone's well and chirpy this morning. :)
    You are joking:rotfl:
Still I am pilled, breakfasted, washed and dressed. Now clutching a :coffee:in the hope the caffeine will wake up my flickering brain cell.

House opposite had their annual BBQ yesterday. To be fair there is never much noise, but judging by the number of cars still here this morning they either had an adult sleep-over or a lot of people will have to come back (in the rain) to collect.
