Not had internet for few days so will have to try and catch up from memory.
I work at a voluntary job on Wednesdays, last week kids went to a Rugby Club camp where they played various sports. £12 each for 9-4, need to take a packed lunch.

Thursday 'play rangers' came to the park near me. These are council workers who fetch 'play items' in a large van. The play items are things like tyres and a wooden cart with rope that they tow a few kids at a time around. They also had loads of material and pegs for them to make a huge 'den' against the fence. This was no sooner done then the heavens opened. We live doors away but the kids wanted to stop and shelter in the den-lol.

Friday-We went supermarket shopping with my elderly nan. As a thank you she treated us to lunch. We went to a pub with play area that I've only been to kids parties at before, and discovered they do a carvery for £3.50 in addition to the usual pub fayre. Eldest was happy as he loves his 'roast dinners'.

Monday-son's cubs is on during holidays but I forgot to go last week. This week they were doing kayaking on a nearby lake.

Yesterday they went to their nans for a couple of hours and husband now has a week off so had them whilst I worked.

My youngest's birthday today so I took him to the cinema, we did it last year too and he asked if I would, he thinks it's a tradition now lol! We used the ticket off a happy meal box to get him in free (yes, I know it's orange wednesday lol!). Then baked some cakes for his tea party, and the children decorated them themselves and were all extremely excited about it, bless them :)

Well, dd(7) is now at her Brownie pack holiday and dd(17) is at her friends, so it's just me, my dog and my cat - and they are both fast asleep!

And it has just struck me this is the first time I have ever been alone in a house all night!

We've just been sorting stuff out and I have mowed the grass today - it was a bit if a jungle and took me two hours! DD was helping but then some friends called for her so I was left to it.:D

Has anyone seen ScoobyDoo live? (Millie's mum has reminded me of it!)

Just booked to go and see it at the Hackney Empire next month so would be interested to hear from anyone that has seen it! :)

I'm taking DD (10) to work with me tomorrow (she will take her Nintendo and play on the computers) I finish early (3) so we'll do some holiday clothes shopping afterwards. Today my dad had her and my niece and they went to a playbarn. Yesterday my sister had her and they went swimming. Monday and Friday are my days off so we'll do something nice together :)

Today we have already at 8.15 created a masterpiece with poster paints ;-)

Then we are off to a friend for a little while, Sainsbury's for lunch and shopping then the library. I know the minute we finish my dd will say the words that always make we want to strangle her " what are we doing next?"

Hope you all have a good day.
