well - day 1 of the 6 weeks hols! This morning the boys did 'multisports' at our local leisure centre, followed by a trip to the library to sign up for the 'quest seekers' reading challange, then chips from the chippie to eat at home. After lunch they each read their quest seekers challange books to me and are now upstairs watching a dvd :) I think I've done my bit for today lol.
Tomorrow hopefully I'll get my shopping delivered so we may be at home tomorrow - just their swimming lessons in the afternoon.

My girls have spent the day out the front with friends on bikes and with prams, being the first day of the holiday its still a novelty, even when the rain showers came.

We went swimming again, am annoyed though as apparently my borough (and the neighbouring borough) haven't gone in for the free swimming for kids!!
Thanks for the info anyway everyone!
On the next sunny day we will be going for a picnic in Kensington Gardens, the tube ride there will excite the kids and at least it's a different park to the one near our house so should be fun for them!!

we've just had our first weekday home, & the kids are all complaining they are bored. They woke me at 7 to beg to play computer games. I said no, & continued to say no all day :D. Need to make a plan, urgently!

It doesn't have Saturday and Sunday though, which is a pain for me! I kind of added them onto the end with a felt tip.

I saw witch mountain and quite enjoyed it! They freed them from being experimented on and took off in the space ship.

The nasty guy was on the space ship so there was lots of fighting before they pushed him to his doom.

Then they landed and dropped off Jack and the woman (can't recall her name) before they went home, and gave Jack the electronic thingie and said they can always find him if he has that - so bound to be a sequel!

At the very end Jack and co were telling the story to people as insurance against them being bumped off.

That was about the crux of it really! :D I'm not good on detail - sorry!

you enjoyed it? I'd had a beer, & still it was a toss up between watching it or rereading the inflight mag :D. but atleast I now know the ending & don't have to rent it. :T

Just to let you parents know, I work at the Odeon and we have a 'Kids Club' on Saturday and Sunday mornings. It's £2.50 per child (1 adult free with every paying child) and we show kids films like Bolt, Ice Age etc.... it's a cheapish morning out with the kids.

Please don't leave a mess in the screens though, as I have to clean it up. :D
