So glad your scan turned out so well FE! How exciting getting to see your little bean again & how much they'd grown. Ah it makes me feel all warm inside
Does the fact that the shadow has developed since the last scan mean there is any hope for it or do they think it will just be reabsorbed? My friend had IVF and apparently her DD "ate" her twin bean?!
If you just had implants inserted rather than something more invasive like breast reduction surgery then I think there is usually a good chance of still being able to breastfeed. But if you can't then you shouldn't beat yourself up over it as there are lots of other ways to ensure bonding with your baby.

Sorry for hoping the thread again! But ~I was just hoping to hear from you FE before I go to hospital!
I am so happy to hear all is well and that the second one was not ectopic. Now I can calm down and get ready for my laparoscopy...Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
Hello ladies,
A belated welcome to whitewing & nickabella - its lovely to have you "on board" so to speak.
Nikkabella,I hope your DD is over the worst now and is well on her way to a full recovery.
FE. Glad everything went OK with the scan today, although I expect you've got mixed feelings re the second embie, but like you said, the good news is that at least every things developing where it should be.
Its amazing how quickly the embryos develop isn't it -the differences between my 7,9 & 12 week scans are incredible - they literally went from blob to baby.
Hope everyone else is well.

FE so please shadow turned out to be other embie and is not ectopic, you must feel a huge weight has lifted. Hope you get a good PX price and you get the new car at a more affordable price. Oh and fingers crossed you big boss gets something sorted with HR, I know you seem to think its a long shot but I like to be optimistic hehe. As for breastfeeding I hope you are able to but dont beat your self up if you can't its not through not wanting to.
Well also had my scan today, seems bean 2 is not to be and looks like its reabsorbing. Honestly though we are just happy bean one is healthy and now we can go back to our own doc and continue as a regular pregnancy. I know it would have been fab for it to have been twins but it just isn't ment to be, and the out come of all the treatment was to have a baby, and thats what we will have. So we can move forward now and start to make plans. Lil bean is measuring 20.8 mm so they have now dated me at 8+6 (was supposed to be 8+2) with a due date of 27th feb (so glad its not a leap year next year). ould see the heart beat even better this time, and doc pointed out head as well as arms and legs starting to form hehe, so cute.
Nikabella hope DD is mending, must be rotten for her continualy getting infections poor love.Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Its all exciting stuff isn't it ? I still don't believe that I'm actually PG,although the expanding waistline says it all ! !
Take care

That's ok purplehibiscus. Yes the doctors know, I told them when they rang up to diagnose her and he said to just give her the bruprofen & calpol but that's probably because he knows that she regularly ends up with temperatures like this.
DD has had about 12 bad ear infections in the past 18 months and each time her temp gets up to 41C and we struggle to keep it down. The first time she had to stay in hospital so that they could monitor her & I spent 4 nights sleeping on the floor next to her cot as she was only a baby, however, since then they don't seem to worry so muchNot sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing. It is very worrying when you are the parent at 4am with the child who's hands & feet are even red hot because their temperature is so high.

Hiya, sorry another longterm lurker/ wellwisher here! Just to poke my nose in and see if you had tried homeopathy at all? Belladonna is really effective at lowering high temps and can be taken alongside regular meds so is worth a try. My mum used with us as children and I use with my DD. DD temp was 102 and went down within 20 mins! Anyway, hope she feels better soon, little chick!

Well everyone is obviously off enjoying there weekend! We're up bright and early to do our car boot sale, car is all packed and ready to go
Gonna treat our selves to a Mac D's breakie as there is one on route. OH doesnt know yet but plan on having a wonder while where there see if I can find any baby bargains now we have a bit more space hehe.
Bought a lovely light and sound projector to use with our cot on Friday (dont like the short shelf life of mobiles), when OH told Mil she told him off and said she would have bought it. She announced she wants to take me shopping for baby bits as well as going to The Baby Show in October (will be nice to go as a visitor instead of an exhibitor for a change hehe). Seems mil has lots of money she wants to spend on her first (and possibly only) grand baby, which is good, but we'd still like to provide some bits for our LO.Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Hope you enjoyed your Mac D's breakfast - The last time I had one of those was to cure a hangover (those were the days)
Sounds like your MIL is a good one - But I know what you mean, its nice to be able to buy your own stuff as well.Did you manage to get any bargains from the boot sale ? I think I'll have a look at our local car boot for a few bits.
