Enjoy the aqua natel - I've turned into a right lazy slob !!! I used to run quite a bit,but haven't got the energy now ( thats old age). But I'll hopefully up and running again when Beans here - it'll be a great way to loose the baby weight.

I had big plans this pregnancy. I bought Davina's pregnancy work out dvd and watched it through once so I'd know how to do it. And have never had it out of the box again. The same with a pilates in pregnancy dvd. Looked up the times and days for aqua natal and pregnancy yoga and didn't attend a single class! Possibly too late to start now at 1 day before 37 weeks :rotfl: Mind you, if I had started earlier perhaps I wouldn't now be as stiff and sore as I am...

Notslass - I got my pillow of ebay brand new and alot cheaper than mothercare, you get to choose what colour cover you'd like too. I love mine its soooo comfy. Aquanatal was fab, altho I did arrive a few minutes late it didnt seem to matter. The work out was fab, you could feel it and was a lil hard work but not really strenous. Would deffinatley reccomend it.

Nicki - had good intentions too but mine revolved around eating well, seeing as that was never gonna happen I figured the sooner I got into an excercise routine the better lol.
Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpuls
    Working on baby no2 :D
  • Nicki - I attended aquanatal TWICE before DD was born as I didn't finish work unti 37 weeks! The 2nd class I attended was 3 days before DD was born.

I love swimming under water and misjudged the size of my bump and bumped it against the bottom of the pool - oops :rotfl:
Proud to be dealing with my debts
    DD Katie born April 2007!
3 years 9 months and proud of it

I'd be worried about going now because of the amount of water I'd displace in the pool :D
  • Hi Ladies,
Its a bit quite on here - is everyone enjoying the late summer sunshine ?

Somnium - Thanks for pointing me in the direction of ebay for the support pillow, they are soooo much cheaper than everywhere else,I've ordered a 5ft one, and hopefully it'll arrive in the next day or so.

FE - Hope everything OK with you - was it last week that you were on your Hols ? You picked the right week !!!!

Nicki - I bet you're really counting down the days now !!!

AFM - I had my abnomaly (SP ?) scan today, although we didn't see much 'cos bean was face down, we were reassured that every things OK:j Mind you I've spent the last few days worrying myself stupid - I suppose its because I've realised you can't take anything for granted.

I'm still resisting the temptation to buy too many clothes as I know we'll want to go and buy lots of cute pink or blue outfits as soon as LO is here.

    Take care x

    Congrats on your scan!

...still here! Had antenatal appt today and baby is no longer breech but lying across my tummy instead so apparently the chances of a spontaneous labour before next Thursday's section are very small, but he or she does need someone to go in there to get them, as they can't get out from that position all by themselves!
  • 'Morning all!

Well, I thought I'd log back in and find that Nicki's baby had arrived!!! Hang on in there girl - not long to go now!

I'm back from hols - which was really nice week (we were so lucky with the weather) but would have been even better without the job worries - they called me in the day before I went and offered me the job in B-Ham, but won't be flexible on my going there 5 days a week - now as that means a 2hour drive each way, or £70 a day on the train.........

There's been a lot of bad feeling in our office up there too, as one of the girls has been told that she won't have a job if I accept the offer! So you can guess what kind of atmosphere I'd be walking into too!!!!!

The upshot of it all is that I had yet another meeting yesterday and have told them that the 'situation' would make it very difficult for me to accept the job, as it will obviously be very stressful (which I need to avoid ATM) so although I want to accept it (!!!!!) as otherwise I will be 'financially disadvantaged'...blah, blah blah....basically I suggested to them that if they make me a reasonable offer I will 'go quietly' (which is what they want me to do really!). They didn't immediately dismiss it, so I'm waiting to hear back from them now.

Otherwise, all seems OK, if quiet, on the baby front. Bump is a bit bigger (naturally!) but sickness has all-but stopped. 15 weeks on Monday, so into the 2nd trimester now! Still tired though.

I've been thinking of getting one of those pillows too - will order one later on after your reccommendations - I'm using a triagular one at the mo' but it doesn't quite do the job IYKWIM.

Hope everyone & your bumps are well!

    FE -x-
