OMG its like someone turned the heating on last night, I was so hot and uncomfy! I thought sleep was supposed to improve in your 2nd trimester not get worse. I seem to spend all night trying to get comfy and stay cool, on top of having to deal with my OHs constant snoring! I've woken up with a sore back now, having only gotten rid of my stupid miagraine yesterday
Off for a wonder about asda in a while, maybe the excercise will help. If not the tens machine will be going on now the MW has given me the thumbs up to use it.

LOL re all our non-existant bursts of energy - except Nicki (maybe we've been told wrong and it won't come until we are almost due?!).
Well, I had one for an hour or so on Sat - managed to cut back the russian vine which had suddenly turned into a triffid and tried to take over the entire garden - then I was worn out for the rest of the day!
EA, yes this is my first - after 5+ years 3x IVF (+1xFET) & 2 losses. I always wanted 2, as I'm an only child, but as age (I'm 38 now) & biology seem to be against us, I don't know if that will happen now, but we'll have to wait & see I guess!
Gonna order that pillow today, as am so fed up with uncomfortable nights - mind you I'm still getting up several times to go to the loo which doesn't help (sure I read that was supposed to stop in the 2nd tri as well - who writes all this stuff?!?!?!?).
Nightmares about work again last night (which is also not helping sleep, obviously!) and really didn't want to come in today. Still, as my 'consultation period' ends on Thursday, I guess I will know by Weds what is going to happen, so not long to go. Will miss the blokes I work with as they are really nice guys.
Seeing the MW on Thurs - maybe I will actually get to meet 'my' MW this time!
Have a good day everyone!

Yes, but not for long. Just waiting for inlaws to arrive and for kids to get back from school, when I'll have to log off for the day. And as I'm due in hospital at 7.00 am tomorrow () for my section, I suspect I won't be back again until I have news for you all.
What's up FE? Anything in particular or do you just fancy a natter?0 -

Will post properly in a few days when home from hospital but am holding my gorgeous baby boy born yesterday morning at 10.50. He's called Edward George and weighed in at a hefty 8lb 11oz. Can't begin to describe how much I love him after only 17 hours.

Hi FE, is the work situation any better ? Did the MW appointment go ok ?
Sominum - I had really bad headaches up until a couple of weeks ago - They seem to have disappeared now (touch wood)
EA - I only got to hear the heart beat after pleading with the Doc at my hospital appointment. I asked the sonographer if we could have "sound effects" while she was doing the scan & was asked "why would you want to hear it when you can see it"(on the scan) - She'd obviously never been pregnant !!!!0
