These days if I drink too much then I'm awake at 3 or 4 in the morning and just getting back to sleep half an hour before the alarm goes off.
Mmm, english breakfast. Maybe second breakfast is called for later. And then I wonder if alcohol and my extra weight are linked at all. Off to find a brick wall to headbutt as it would make more sense than keeping on doing this to myself.
Maybe saying how rubbish I feel might help me. or someone. or something.0 -
wow fuas - go go go - 30 days in August. I'm impressed. Good luck!0

So what you gonna do with your day Debtmonkey? Is there anything you could do in the house to surprise your g/f with when she gets back? I find a Saturday trip to IKEA is always a pleasure (not!!!!!!!!!!!!!).

Morning all:hello:
I see lots of you are up and about really early this morning. I am sitting here in my pjs , telling myself that I must go and shower and get dressed, as I have to go to work as soon as DH gets back. He has taken DS3 to footie . Poor wee thing will be drenched as it is chucking it down here:mad:.
Jo, my total for July was 11.
Have a good day everyone.
Probably log on later when I am at work :rotfl:

Thanks for the food suggestions I have had eggs and toast and a piece of toast with marmite on too. I feel almost human and much less likely to vom. I will call one of the toasts dinner last night if it'll help. I did get a few hours sleep and I haven't been drinking this morning. Just last night was one of those stupid pub no dinner evenings so I woke up stupidly early feeling like carp. Actually carp are slimy so the idea is really gross this morning. These days if I drink too much then I'm awake at 3 or 4 in the morning and just getting back to sleep half an hour before the alarm goes off.

I hope you feel better later on. I know what you mean about those evenings when you just drink and have no food. Alcohol affects you so much more with an empty stomach.
I was trying to think of the most embarassing incident when I have been drunk but there are too many to name! Snogging people I wouldn't go near when sober, falling over, crying for no reason and I've been kicked out of a pub once.:o
The most common theme with me when I'm drunk is that I don't remember anything at all because I have black outs so I probably have done worse things that I don't recall.
I didn't have too much to drink last night so not feeling too bad today. I'm about to have an oven toasted baguette with vegetarian sausages and grilled tomatoes and lots of tommy ketchup and brown sauce.:drool:HOUSE MOVE FUND £16,000/ £19,000

I'll be able to declare 5 afds on the 1st! That'll confuse the scorer :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:(sorry Miss P & good luck for the month)
Know what you mean. I have 4 nights at work so will not be drinking so could declare 4 straight awaybut it would kill the suspense so 1 day at a time

A shiny new month for everyone, pouring with rain here as usual!Welcome to all the newcomers and good luck with achieving your targets.I am an Alcoholic female and did lots of horrendous things but I never wet the bed!Today I keep it very simple I dont pick up the first drink.I love reading this thread mostly for the humour and cooking tips:mad: going to try that corned beef thingy sounds yummy.I really want the ones who should quit Alcohol for good to do it,life is so much better without the stuff. Well better get dressed methinks at nearly noon:eek:Sobriety delivers everything Alcohol promised.
Alcohol free since May 23rd 2003.0 -
I had to scarper quick earlier; Roger Whittaker came on the radio.
I've had a fried egg on marmite toast &......started the tabs. Can't believe my earlier post! How long do I need to have toothache for?! Anyway, that's taken care of Sunday thro Wednesday; for someone who was "relieved" it's niggling though.
wbf, unfortunately I can't rid myself of the image of you upchucking on the bus before the doors opened; classy. Someone sat opposite me on the tube did that once & "got" my shoes; his mate thought it was hilarious that he was so drunk. Yeah, ha ha.
Debtmonkey I totally sympathise with your dilemma, boredom is a huge factor in my drinking. It's nigh on impossible to have a regular evening thing to do cos of childcare (lack of) & we are pretty remote in the country so nothing's near at hand (not even the offy :rotfl:I have to be a very organised drunk), so I can well imagine you feeling a bit stir-crazy. Can only advise you think about how you'll feel about life tomorrow morning, whatever you do.....
Anyways, must get on...see you later! have a good 1st day of month everyone.0 -
Morning all
Just about to update the scores but thought I'd give people a chance to give their final numbers in.
FUAS, go girl, good luck for August x
WBF, reading your first post made me feel ill (don't mean to be rude), which reminds me that drinking is a bad bad thing....hope you feel better later xx
Changing Ways, congratulations on the 10 weeks, that is an amazing achievement, please give us all some tips!
DC, no sun here either, how can they constantly get the weather forecast wrong!! DD1 just rung me from Portugal (she's actually gone to Spain but the beaches are nicer down the road in Portugal ) and it's extremely hot, she's totally tanned and has peeling face (obviously ignored my pleas about sun cream, kaftans and hats ).
Miss P, good luck for AugustI'm still not going to declare a target, maybe I'll be a late starter if you'll have me later in the month, we'll see xx
YM, what you cooking today
BHB, loving your new avvie
WB, take the bluddy tablets!!!!
