GP's Biking Update

I set off on the bike at 12 o'clock today and did the established 15 mile run:
Wythenshawe --> Gatley --> Cheadle --> Stockport --> Hazel Grove --> Disley --> High Lane --> Furness Vale (15 miles)

Then though, b*gger it, I can do more.

went on to a Whaley Bridge --> Furnilee --> Buxton
Guess by this point I'm up in the peak district?

Kept following the road through Buxton, got higher and higher in the hills, passed a sign saying I was entering Staffordshire, passed a town called 'Flash' (Ah Haaaa), bike computer said I had done 30 miles in total, so I figured that was the time to stop, collapse in a heap at the side of the road, have a big drink of 7up, and then turn around and come home.

From the 15 mile mark to the 30 mile mark was pretty much all uphill so it absolutely killed me. Going back down was fantastic, freewheeled most of the 15 miles back to Furness Vale. I clocked a top speed of 36.1 mph !!!!

So, a total of sixty miles on bikey today. I'm very impressed with myself. Passed tons of nice little country type pubs on the way, and didn't stop in a single one. I'm now chairbound and unable to feel anything below my hips though.
