oh yerss, smoke for 32 yrs, drink heavily for same period of time (tho not all concurrently hence still drinking tho nrly 5 yrs not smoking), slap on oodles of face cream. Most importantly, have a mum who was often taken as my Dad's daughter (only 4 year age diff!) & love her has passed on her genes. Oh yes, Clairol nice'n'easy helps too (40sm knows!). Mind you, don't get tooth problems I've aged 10 years this week!!!!!!
Winebox. Oh, how I have missed you.... you make me laugh so much. You should do standup :rotfl::rotfl::T:T . Hope the teeth /gums get better soon.

Not bad when you are in the higher tax bracket at 23. At least I should hopefully have a luxury nursing home in my old age to look forward too. In contrast Mr BB can't even get a min wage job. I am so glad he's out of Stoke and doing well. He is the one good thing that I have done right in my life
Though I do think lunch should have been on him :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

That is brilliant news , you must be so proud . :A With that massive payrise he will be able to pay for all our curries when we all meet up In London:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hiya hun, just go to your GP and ask for one. If you're brave enough like 115k, then say that you are concerned because of the amount you drink and ask that they not only do a LFT (liver function test) but a GGT too (eselt can tell you what that stands for, summat about enzymes in the liver). I had one a few months ago that said that at the moment my liver function was okay but my GGT was high, normal is between 0-31 and mine was 56 or summat which shows possible imminent liver damage if abused. It also shows alcohol abuse in a drinker.
My GP didn't go into so much detail with me. He just read out the list of things they had tested me for and said everything was fine or better than average for my age.:rolleyes:
One thing I worry about is diabetes as a few people in my family have it including a parent.
Winebox is a very funny lady I agree.:THOUSE MOVE FUND £16,000/ £19,000

GP's Biking Update
=============
I set off on the bike at 12 o'clock today and did the established 15 mile run:
Wythenshawe --> Gatley --> Cheadle --> Stockport --> Hazel Grove --> Disley --> High Lane --> Furness Vale (15 miles)
Then though, b*gger it, I can do more.
went on to a Whaley Bridge --> Furnilee --> Buxton
Guess by this point I'm up in the peak district?
Kept following the road through Buxton, got higher and higher in the hills, passed a sign saying I was entering Staffordshire, passed a town called 'Flash' (Ah Haaaa), bike computer said I had done 30 miles in total, so I figured that was the time to stop, collapse in a heap at the side of the road, have a big drink of 7up, and then turn around and come home.
From the 15 mile mark to the 30 mile mark was pretty much all uphill so it absolutely killed me. Going back down was fantastic, freewheeled most of the 15 miles back to Furness Vale. I clocked a top speed of 36.1 mph !!!!
So, a total of sixty miles on bikey today. I'm very impressed with myself. Passed tons of nice little country type pubs on the way, and didn't stop in a single one. I'm now chairbound and unable to feel anything below my hips though.0 -
