It is only me pouring it down my neck so I can make the decision not to. Wont work for everyone but works for me
I am finding that this is working for me, if you do have it nessa you only have yourself to blame and I am finding it is working, I can keep to just Friday and Satuday I think which will make me a very happy lady :T
Oh and this thread it a great help, knowing you are all there in times of need

Miss_Piggy wrote: »Well it was an AF evening for me last night. Did as I thought I would do...had a bath and went and hid under my duvet by 9pm! OH said I was asleep by quarter past. Sleeping has always been my reaction to stress or upset.
On a really positive note....I lost 5lbs this week!!!:j:j Am so pleased with that as I did drink a bit this week and that usually slows down my weightloss.
I glad you feel a bit better today Miss Piggy. Well done on losing 5 lbs! :Tmollypolly wrote: »115K...You are doing really well too.Do you feel like you have turned a corner at last and are finally settling down to sorting your drinking. You seemed to be really struggling not long ago...but now...10 days.Wow.
Thanks Molly Polly.:) I am on a different anti-depressant now and I am not having side effects like insomnia so it seems to be making a lot of difference to my drinking habits.40somethingmum wrote: »Booger! Hi, yes it was Marian Keyes "This Charming Man". The chapters about Marnie's battle with alcohol were very well written. Thanks for the welcome too
Got this from the library. It's lost me a couple of days as it was a real page turner and so highly recommended to anyone having a boring AF evening stretching out in front of them. The descriptions of Marnie's drink problem and her thought processes rang so true, as did the accounts of domestic abuse which is another big theme of the book. But it is also very very funny and optimistic.
So Pagan71 if you're around, thanks for the recommendation. Hope things are going well for you.0 -
Also found on Monday that if I can hold off opening the wine whilst Im cooking by the time Ive eaten my meal I dont fancy a drink! So only between 7 and 8.30ish is danger time (the time I'll usually sink three quarters of a bottle ) Remember somebody else said this the other day....cant remember who though...
Hi Stroppy - It was me! This is my danger time - get the meal made, eat it and the desire for a drink passes (it's worked so far anyway)!
Didn't plan to stay AF yesterday as I was going out to the pub with a mate (rare occasion, I usually drink at home) - had a really nice evening but 5 pints of Stella and I feel rough today (think 2 AFDs prior to yesterday reduced my tolerance, as I felt quite pi**ed)!?
Anyway, I'll be AF today - then it's the weekend, which I haven't planned as AF - I'm stopping the drinking Monday to Thursday as I think that's realistic for me (hence 20 in Sept).
Off to get some Paracetamol......:DAmount saved by cutting down on  since 24/08/2009....... :j£81.78:j0 -
