Morning V,
Martin Lewis was on GMTV this morning talking about the Virgin Media deal, £150 cashback with Quidco, works out over the year at around £11 a month. BT line charges are £11.75 or summat just for phone, but the Virgin one includes phone, tv AND internet. HTH
Dunno if I worded that right, it works out at around £11 a month over the year because of the cashback. Does that make sense??DFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -
Yuk..... I feel tired and sluggish today. Went out with friends for a meal last night and drank full bottle of wine....havent got a hangover but was really hard to get up out of bed, whereas monday and Tuesday mornings I got up no problem!Had always put my inability to get up well down to me 'not being a morning person' but on reflection I imagine its the wine.
Going to try and have another AFD today as could be the last chance until Monday, think i will always struggle with the idea of being AF on a Fri or Sat....its been ingrained in me since a teenager thats what they are for
Also found on Monday that if I can hold off opening the wine whilst Im cooking by the time Ive eaten my meal I dont fancy a drink! So only between 7 and 8.30ish is danger time (the time I'll usually sink three quarters of a bottle ) Remember somebody else said this the other day....cant remember who though...
Anyway best get up off bum now.....hope everyone is well today

No, I wasn't actually watching it, I'm sat here doing an Asda online shop and my ears pricked up when I heard Martin Lewis' voice!
I've not even seen X-Factor yet, we've taped it so might watch tonight.....oooh that reminds me, I need to see if How Clean is Your House is still on on-demand cos I missed it when I was away last week and it's on again tonight! I love Kim & Aggie!!
Just for the record, did crap last night, don't even wanna talk about it today so just thought I'd mention it and get it out the way.
I do not intend to sit here with verbal diahorrea today (sorry MP), I intend to do housework type things and will be going to Tesco in a minute to get stuff for dinner and get it on early. I WILL sit in my armchair this evening reading my book and WILL NOT be drinking.
Right, better crack on with this Asda shop, I've been doing it over an hour!DFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -
Test today for me.
Have the house to myself and normally I would have about 12/14 cans in the fridge ready to start my drinking about 12pmI seem now to have a different attitude and it was like when I gave up smoking. I just said to myself that if you dont want to drink it really is quite simple "Dont have one ". It is only me pouring it down my neck so I can make the decision not to. Wont work for everyone but works for me
So far had a large tumbler of water :A and one of these
Molly....1 it is
Miss P well done on the weight loss :T Must dash still painting dolls house
