Sorry I didn't have time to post yesterday, we were so busy! Lovely day though, despite large hangover!!
Up at 7am to do my voluntary work, then scrambed eggs on toast when I got back (Yum) and then BIL/SIL and our gorgeous little nephews popped round for a few hours on their way back from their holiday in Wales, which was great fun. Then I did lots of cooking: HM chicken korma, bombay potatoes and gram flour flatbreads..........was delish! And sat and watched the 2nd Narnia film - Prince Caspian, which was very enjoyable. And all AF!
I'm AF today and intend to stay that way.
I am not going to let Friday's drinking blip affect my long term plan to be AF. It's really really hard stay AF and I have looked back on Friday and thought about why I was not able to resist the drink that evening. I did go back to an old "pattern" with the vodka, but I recognise that. I didn't get absolutely paraletic like I used to do a few weeks ago, so that is a small improvement at least.
Thanks for your posts of encouragement and that I shouldn't beat myself up about it too much. You all helped enormously.
And the same goes for those of us who are struggling to stay AF at the moment - keep working at it, don't give up if you don't succeed on one particular day. (I think I am an example of that now!!!)
Hugs and love,
Caz

Hi everyone - there's 30 pages to catch up on!! So a quick hello then will off to try & do so.....
Great hols...way too excessive on the you-know-what, & today, but will be bright new shining star tomorrow. Back to work, yeuch. Typical Wales - whilst the rest of the country had the hottest day of the year on Wed (?) we had 18 degrees & rain.
Had a "c-list" birthday - cod'n'chips for lunch, champagne, cava, chardonnay (in that order), chicken curry for dinner, then chocolates (coffee creams!) & coffee.
Shame about the toast for breakfast, should've been cereal......
Needless to say now a supersized wb. Diet & af tomorrow!!
Whilst we were away our mate Sid was the victim of ID theft. Now we just call him S:cool:
Welcome Back WB,
So glad to hear you had a fab birthday. Must say you are looking fab @ fifty:T:T:T
Catch up with you later:D

Well I'm in the same boat too guys - got a glass in front of me now - had to go Tesco for Sunday roast ingredients and just couldnt resist. Back to AF tomorrow tho.
Bit like you Caz, feel kinda proud of myself. Went out both Sat & Sun night to a local music fest and had cider on both nights but instead of getting my usual wrecked self, took it easy and even had a pint of water now and then. Makes such a difference.
Winebox, just spoke to some friends in Sussex and they sittin out in the balcony having a beer - it's p***ing down here in South Wales.....you got the same?
Miss P, dont beat yourself up, coming on here and having a chat should help. We all do it but I think 'everyone' on here is doing better in general than they would be just struggling on their own. It's the bestest forum ever!!
