Just got home from work, done 8 1/2 hours overtime so far today and yesterday, this is going to pay for DS's birthday party in November (won't get the money till October payday :))

Had such a horrific night last night....everything was going great (not on the AF front ), OH was out on a work 'bonding' day and had been in the pub for most of the day, I was expecting him home at 5pm but he decided to stay out so I got to catch up on 4 episodes of Eastenders and a couple of corrie. It was like the perfect evening, marinated and cooked some chicken pieces in madras paste, totally yummy, got kids to bed early and DD1 was out with the boyfriend so it was so peaceful.

    Then......

OH walked in at 9pm p!ssed as you like and he said to ring DD1 to make sure she gets home at her 11pm curfew being a work night for both of us but she didn't answer her phone as usual. He was very angry, it's so irritating when she doesn't answer her phone especially as we had no idea where she was or when she was coming in. But then 10 minutes later she walked in at 10.30pm, without even being told what time to come in (I was very impressed to say the least!!) but OH saw red and went nuts because she didn't answer her phone. I understand where he's coming from, but also believed that we shouldn't look past the fact that she was adult enough to come in at a decent time without being asked. DD1 was shouting, OH was shouting, then I got involved and was shouting. DD1 stormed out and I went out to look for her. OH thought I'd stormed out too so locked me out. I found DD1 so said that's it, we're off...didn't want to spend a night in a hotel as it costs so ended up at my mums. She was surprised to say the least :rotfl:. After about half hour he rang me and told me to come home and we'll sort it out today, so I did (only cos I was tired and wanted my own bed lol). Haven't spoken to him yet today but he looked like death warmed up this morning when he left the house. I'm sure if I was sober things wouldn't have gone so drastically bad yesterday....demon drink huh

Yes you are right. I didn't buy any drink on the way home and have left myself (purposefully) with no money to buy any, that's not to say if I get desperate I can't buy it on the card  feel okay at the moment, going to go and get the chicken casserole on and clean the kitchen to keep me busy :)

    Hi

DH just phoned to say that he picked boys up from school. As predicted DS2 came out in floods of tears. Apparently teacher got very upset ( this is her very first teaching job and has become very attached to her bunch of 7 yr olds) .. this of course made all the children cry. Bless.

Of course, DS2 was not crying because of that , it was because someone poked his eye:rotfl::rotfl:

So it is now officially school holidays.:eek: God help me. How much to wine boxes cost ? ;)

I have started my hols but start back at school next week :rotfl:

Had a lovely day today with the kids. We have been rock pooling, catching crabs, chasing prawns, poking sea urchins, trying to prize mussels of rocks, watching winkles :D (sorry ...the boy came out in me then :rotfl:), and searching for the elusive starfish...... (not seen any at all since I was a kid )

Mrs BHB is due back from Chelmsford about 8.00pm. We have had tea, washed up and am now about to go feed the sheep and goats, so she can relax when we pick her up from the station.

I have my AF Brut open .... though forgot to put it in the fridge this morning .... Doh!! Can't get over how close it is to the real thing :cool:

Will catch up leter when I smell of goat.
