    HI

I am going to Florida in November for the first time. I am so cofnused about where to buy my tickets from. I have checked the sites that have been recommended by Martin Lewis however I have also found a company called kissime guest services who are very cheap. Has any one else used them in the past or can recommend where is best to purchase tickets.
I am looking for wdw, busch gardnes, universal, gator land, sea world, kennedy space, and the boat ride.

    Thanks
    :D

I'm going in November too! Third time. I've messaged you the company we get our tickets from. They're pretty cheap!

Myself and husband are going to Florida on 1st September for 3 weeks and we are paying £3500. This includes direct flights on Thomson dreamliner from Glasgow, Clarion Inn in lake buena vista, 3 weeks car rental and 21 day ticket for disney. You get direct flights from Edinburgh/Glasgow but they will fly into Stanford Airport not Orlando International.

That is quite a good price for 3 weeks :)
We were wanting to rent a car but the under 25 charge really does add a LOT onto the price which is such a pain, we wanted to do other activities outside the tourist track, maybe tampa beaches too. Even if we could hire a car for one week or a few days, i'll be a nervous wreck driving the thing though!
One problem is I do not have a credit card and will not get one due to a bad credit rating. Can Florida be done without one does anyone know?
I realise a lot of hotels/car hire companies etc want a credit card from you these days. I'm also concerned about booking the holiday online with my debit card as I will have no protection. Is there a way round this?

Well that's kind of a given since you only get 2 parks with the Universal ticket but with Disney you get 4 theme parks, 2 water parks and Disney Quest so you actually get a little more for your money when you break it down. :)

The deals you're finding sound pretty good to me, you may have to pay extra for transfers but you may find it cheaper (and much quicker than going on a coach that stops at 10 hotels when your stop always seems to be the last!!) if you organise a private taxi through Mears or similar. :)

I'd love to do both, will just have to see how funds go! My boyfriend isn't that into Disney, but I can't really go to Florida and not do Disney!

Thanks, that's a good idea, i'll definitely look into getting a taxi if we end up not renting a car.

    We're a family of 4, 2 adults & 2 children (15 & 12, so may be classed as adults on some site).

I've been looking at fly drives for next year end June/early July (so term time, which I would hope will make it cheaper). I cant get prices from some sites yet as its over a year away.

Virgin are coming out at around £4.5k. However Kenwood Travel are offering Virgin flight for the same dates at £3.3k. How are they so much cheaper than booking direct with Virgin? I know this company have been around for several years now so I don't think its something that's sprung up overnight to take your money and run but am I missing something?

Do you think I'd get a better price by waiting until other sites are offering prices for the dates I want. I have to be honest, I was hoping to get it cheaper than that!

I would avoid any trip that takes in the 4th of July weekend. You will be looking at huge crowds and top dollar for everything.

We are looking at April/May next year and for our dates, a Virgin fly drive is coming out at almost £1000 more for 4 people than a Virgin flight and separate car hire would (US rentacar which we have used many times before). That may explain your difference.

EDIT : Virgin Atlantic flight prices come out 11 months in advance, so if you wait a few weeks, you might get a better deal doing it that way.

We did it a little differently this year. We got our Virgin flight prices, then called Dial a Flight who matched them. The advantage was that we only had to pay £50 each deposit until 8 (I think it was 8, maybe 10) weeks before travel whereas you pay in full as you book with Virgin Atlantic.

It would be a massive shame if you didn't do Disney! :) My DH didn't really get why I was willing to spend so much money on tickets as he 'isn't into Disney' but as soon as we got there he was like a kid and absolutely loved every minute! :)

We are all booked to go to Florida on the 8th February 2014 for 14 nights with our 2 boys who will be 4 and 7. Just after some advice on which parks everyone would suggest? We've booked the 14 day ultimate Disney tickets but not sure if we should visit Universal, Seaworld and the Kennedy space centre and if we'd even fit it all in!

Also should we be thinking about booking shows or character dining now and does anyone have any good recommendations??

    Thanks in advance :)

We took our twin boys at 4 years and we are going back now at 6 years old. The only thing they are raving on about is marvel adventure land at Universal, so this is an absolute must for you if they are into this sort of thing. Even at 4, we spent days in the this bit of the park as there were always new superheroes or xmen or vilians about!
