  • Hi.
Sorry if this has been posted before.
Does anyone know if it's possible to pay a small deposit and then pay off the rest by instalments. I would really rather do it this way assaying has never been my strong point but I will always pay things I have committed to. If this sort of option is available where do I need to go to get it and how much more do I incurr in interest charges.
    Thanks

    P.s it's 2 adults and 2 children (2yrs and 4yrs)
  • Hello, after finally looking at prices to go to disneyworld I think i've left it a bit late. I was looking at easter next year, unfortunately pretty much the same time as the easter holidays so expensive I know. There doesn't seem to be much coming up. Have I left it too late to go easter 2012 or am I not looking in the right places? I've been looking on the usual travel agent websites and flight only options with virgin and ba.

    Thanks in advance.

I ended up taking the decision to take the the little'uns out of school for our holiday and have tried to time it between Easter & May bank holidays. The flights seem a lot cheaper because of that (but I have 4 boys so its expensive anyway!). The problem I am finding is that we are looking at villas to rent and you can see people booking for easter and the May holidays and there isn't quite 2 weeks between em!

I think its cheaper to build your own holiday though - I got what I thought was a good deal using the DIB website but then managed to get around 300 quid off by booking the elements seperately. If you have the time its well worth looking back through the last 20 pages or so, there is so much good information on here!

    Good luck!

Any travel agent - virgin holidays online let you pay whenever but there is a surcharge for paying by credit card.

Disney themselves are very good, £50 each deposit and call up and pay whenever you have the spare cash. They do not charge you for using a credit card.

With Disney you do not pay for under 3's dining or room so you might find they are the cheapest but they would, of course, need a seat on the flight. As with anything it is a case of shopping around.

Mintster, sorry to hear your child has tonsilitis but kind of glad you brought it up as it reminds me that my daughter gets it every year we travel so I will make sure our insurance will cover it.

Have booked my tickets with Orlando Attractions 5 day MYW with 2 days free, just waiting for them to arrive. Why has no one mentioned on this forum that all your Cards will be blocked when paying for things in US. Hubbies card and mine have been blocked with fraud detection calling us. But all sorted now. Leaving mid Dec and cant wait. Although still need to do kids ESTAs which is so stupid that you cannot do a family one and have to pay individually each time.

If you have a friendly doctor I would try and get the antibiotics to bring with you, although my son is on the mend it was pretty bad and really sapped his energy. As he has had it alot we know the signs very early on but stupidly left going to the doctors and his tonsils were nearly touching! I have had it not long before going on holiday before and got an extra lot of antibiotics from my doctor (he is a friendly doctor - always reminds me of Hilary Jones) to take with me in case it re-occurred.

Yes, you should really call card companies if paying for stuff, even when I bought from Virgin Congierge I called them and said I was making a big purchase later so they unlocked the card for me. Some card companies say you do not need to call them but I do anyway - you can never tell.
