Hi,
has anyone stayed at the Lake Buena Vista Resort and Spa? If so could you please give me a little info.
Thanks:wave::hello:Mab2009:wave::wave:0 -
How's everyone deal with Satnav over there? Have driven in California before - with Satnav - and required it! Is Florida that much easier? Will hotel in Kissimmee, driving to all the major parks, NASA, maybe Daytona Beach. Car Hire with Alamo and it seems to be around 100 Sterling for the Satnav for 11 days! Unfortunately I don't own UK Satnav here to preload with maps.0

Hi
Yes we stayed there at Easter this year. We had a 2bed apartment. Fabulous stay....one of our best trips. My boys are teens so the pool was a little young for them but super for younger ones. Games room was a hit though! The bar was great and the food really worth having....I had my reservations about it but it was great and had a good atmosphere.
If you like shopping then this is perfect too. I popped to the shops whilst they chilled out etc so everyone happy and lovely not having to drive and be able to walk somewhere! The coffee shop is super!
Parking quite good, a little dark if you are back late. Lots of restaurants not far from the resort and no long drives to the parks. You do need a car...some people used the bus but it didn't look like much fun.
I could go on and on....we loved it! We booked with 'we fly' and got a good deal but did get charged for using the hotel facilities so just check that with your company.
Hope that helps a little....have a great time!0 -

Very easy to drive in Florida I came back last week after 2 weeks over there,drove all round Florida and had no need for sat nav,the hardest thing to find was hotel when first arriving.
All attractions etc are really clearly signposted,my advice us don't waste money on a sat nav especially from hire car company just see how you get on. If you do feel you need one after few days have a trip to walmart.0 -
