You're absolutely right of course - and one of the fallouts has been airlines reducing flight availability (some through choice, some because they went out of business!) which has increased prices.

This time of year BA reducing Orlando route to 1 flight per day. I think Virgin does this also (though Mcr also open). So that takes down numbers. Worth also remembering original poster that flight taxes are increasing or have increased recently (not sure of timing).

  • Hi all, thanks for all the brilliant information given on this site. Has anyone booked tickets through Attraction Tickets Direct as I phoned them the other day to book my Freedom tickets and it sounded as if someone has just walked passed a phone box and answered a ringing phone!!!! so really nervous about booking through them now, but they seem to be the only company selling tickets for ALL the parks.

I would be very, very grateful if anyone could let me know if this company is okay as I am going in 4 weeks and really want to book my tickets soon.

Many thanks for any help you can give me.

  • I used these - i think they do all the tickets - they are fast and cheap!

We've used ATD back in 2008. Swift and painless. IMO there is nothing to worry about using them. :T

IIRC VA have a habit of doing this at certain times of year - I wish they'd keep the 11.15 running this year though rather than the 13.00!

Very good point about the taxes.

Thanks natters, adypem and atro1 for your replies. I am going to book with ATD as really like the price and idea of one ticket for all the parks we want to visit. 25 days to go - can't wait!

Sorry to be the bringing of bad news but rumours are that Crown Currency have or are in trouble. This is unconfirmed BUT there is lots of posts about it. https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2763962

  • I have booked a 10 day holiday with Virgin which includes the disney dining plan. However i am trying to make a reservation for Cinderellas Royal Table and it wants me to pay the full cost by cc. Has anybody managed to get round this as i want to use my credits from the dining plan.
