Flossy, this is a special dining experience, you need 2 DP table service credits for CRT.
You need to call reservations and ask them to book it for you, tell them you are staying on resort and they will tie the plan into your booking. If you have booked with Disney you can get to your booking online and add it that way but as you have booked via Virgin you are going to have to call them and get it added to your package.Resort Guests & Dining Plan
If you have a Resort reservation or would like to associate your Disney Dining Plan to your dining reservations, please retrieve your resort reservation. (Please be advised that not all restaurants participate in the Disney Dining Plan. Please check your Dining Plan information for participating restaurants.) Retrieve your reservation.0 -

When on the DDP you have to go into retrieve my reservations and attach the ADR. You put in your credit card details but it will say guarantee only (or something like that) and for zero amount.
I made the mistake of just logging into to disney without going into 'retrieve my booking' when I booked CRT and full payment was taken. I then had to cancel and rebook the correct way for my DDP to be acknowlwdged and zero payment shown. I lost out on $8 too as the exchange rate had gone against us by the time I got my card refunded!0 -
3 weeks to go. OMG. Where did the last 7 months go??????
I am hearing reports that Virgin have 'moved the goalposts' and that you now cannot get your early admission and HP Breakfast without going to House of Blues in Downtown Disney to see the reps on day 1. Also, that they are reluctant to sign off the voucher to get you in early unless you spend money with them. You cannot get in unless the voucher has been initialed.
The brochure does not say anything about changes or having to buy things, ot says it is an Exclusive Invitation from Virgin Holidays. Apparently you only find this out when your tickets arrive. If anyone else has the Second Edition Florida brochure could you have a look at p45 and let me know whether I have missed anything about subject to change - this is the only reason we booked with VH as those of you from when I booked know. We have planned to go to IOA on day 1 for breakfast followed by early admission but now it seems we cannot get this. I am not going to get to IOA and have to hang around for 90 minutes until the gates open. So pleased I did not book a taxi for that morning.
I am ticked off but I won't be going to HOB as we are staying on ID so we can get to Universal easier that week! I have posted a mesaage on their FB page to see whether I can get my voucher from the rep at the airport.0 -

The website does not make it clear but the 'reservation number' they are talking about is the reservation for the holiday package if you have booked on the Disney Website. I have booked with them and I can log in there and see my accomodation and DP booking and add the meal on.
The other 6 ADR's I have made are not linked to the accomodation booking at all and I have a seperate Disney Website log in to retrieve the ADR reservations.
Hope that kind of makes sense and I have not confused you more but you should phone and get the meal tagged on as you'll not be able to access your accomdation and DP booking on their website. It is only for customers who have booked with Disney direct as you put the booking number on your invoice into that page.0 -
Just back from Florida the weather was sooooo much better than here! We got a fast Pass for a ride but missed our allotted hour by minutes yet we rushed around Epcot to make it missing some bits but the "cast member" told us it didn't matter as they honour the pass any time so I'm thinking for you guys yet to go ,pick up a Fast pass for the major rides but go don't worry about going back for that time so much and ease you way round the park.Life is like a bath, the longer you are in it the more wrinkly you become.0

Been watching this unfold since Friday, did not think of posting here. We almost uses these guys and the money would have been due now but because we was going to the Disney parties I got a currency card from Tesco with $$ on it.
I feel relieved but also desperately sorry for the people who have had their holidays ruined and lost everything they have saved to go away on holiday. I know you should always have some fallback in case of accident, illness or other things that may occur (volcanic ash for example) but some people just do not have the extra money.
Thing is, if buying £1000 the difference in amount you would get in $$ would buy a meal at MacDonalds, hardly and extra $200, sometimes you just have to go for the safe option.0 -
Blimey - their head office is in my hometown - a small village with not a lot there! I wonder how many people will go looking for them for a return of their money.0
