Just checked and it is still there.
They had Disney hotel for £700January Grocery 11/3740 -
Just to add - I've recently booked through Thomson and car insurance is not included. From memory expect to pay around £200 for two weeks car insurance. (Free car is also around Fiesta size)
As we wanted upgraded car we found it cheaper to ditch the "free" car and organise our own through http://www.usrentacar.co.uk/ 3 levels of car up including insurance was about the same price as the free car insurance on its own.

Ive been looking at departing 2nd October- Im taking OH for his and my birthday. It will be my birthday while we are there- Ive twigged I can get in free at disney on buirthdays throughout 09, so that will save us a pretty penny or two :beer:
we need to depart from manchester- Ive seen FO for 349 with KLM leaving on the 2nd, but will look again at thomson
I think ive looked at the thomson p[ackages before, they include a car, but mum said that thomson charge crazy surcharges- its best to book from a US co that doesnt levy te charges on.
We were hoping to cope without a car, but looked on googleearth last night, and really i think we will have to have a car at least for a couple of days.
Thoughts?:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
This point has been raised many times on this thread, with no firm conclusion. Many people have done it without a car. So it can be done. We always go for the car as we both like to look around, from Many's Chop House in the south to Church street in the north. It gives you much more freedom but you are paying for it!
I cannot find anything with Thompson for Oct. whether their flights are full or they will put them up later, remains to be seen.Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0 -
Hi everyone
We hope to do a fly drive with Monarch at the end of Sept but it says that you need a credit card for the car hire. We both only have Visa Electrons and I don't think this is recognised in the US. Has anyone had this problem? Would we be able to leave a deposit and if so how much?
Thanks in advance for any help

I just wondered if anyone knew of any retail outlets that sold sportswear (in particular brand named trainers) cheap in Orlando?Moving onto a better place...Ciao :wave:0

Reebok = Rebook outlet.
Nike = Nike outlet.
Most of the Malls have shoe shops which sell all the different makes . Not that I am up with all the names but my daughter always does very well. Look out for the coupons in the freebie mags.
Lake Buena Vista factory outlet on the 535 is one of our favourites. And has several trainer shops.Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0 -

Last time we went to the Premium Outlets and the Prime Outlets - both close to I drive and bargains to be had at both...

I would always choose to have a car, as we like the flexibility to come and go as we please and to explore as we wish, pop to the supermarket etc...
Plus, when you leave a park/airport/restaurant with tired children, the familiarity of their car seat is great for a quick nap, whereas if you are at a location (such as hotel), being asked to have a nap is usually refused...in a car it just happens!
