Hi
Has anyone been to the halloween nights last year or so and if so are they suitable for a 9 year old
thanks0 -
Just a quick question about taking things in hand luggage. Will I be allowed to take a wind up torch in the hand luggage? When we get to Orlando it'll be midnight so my son will have to read the instructions for arriving at the villa in the dark as I'm driving. So I thought I'd put a torch in the hand luggage to help him out.Moving onto a better place...Ciao :wave:0

Fiver29 - there will be streetlights, and a courtesy light in the car, and if all else fails (like reading instructions in the airport terminal before you leave?) the light from your mobile phone screen should be bright enough to read a bit of printed paper.;)Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19
Balance 19th April '07 = minus £27,640
Balance 1st November '09 = mortgage paid off with £1903 left over. Title deeds are now ours.0 -

I was planning on reading them first, but it's a long list of directions with too many turns to memorise.

Hi
If you mean the Halloween Horror Nights at Universal, I would say absolutely not suitable for a 9 year old - they are very scary!!
If you mean Mickey's Not so Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom (Disney) then I believe your 9 year old would love that0 -

I couldn't agree more. At Disney it's more pumpkins everywhere, at Universal it's madmen running around with chainsaws0 -

Hi, I too am taking my son to Florida as a single parent - Virgin Holidays have three hotels in Orlando where you can get child prices with one adult. The brochure and website tell you which and there is one in the Lake Buena vista area. This doesn't show up though when you try to check prices on line so may be best to phone or check with a travel agent.
Virgin have always been helpful to me on the phone, try this number...For help making new bookings 0844 557 58250
