  • Estatic. The costumes have arrived and have been tried on. All I can say is the women in the Disney picture must have been 7ft as it skims my ankles but was just under the knee on her.

DS is sitting watching TV with his dalmation costume on as I type this - they are furry so at least I'll not have to carry a fleece for them that night and they will be warm.

My husband is still not buying him being a dalmation though, spoilsort, LOL. Any ideas what I can suggest so he does not ruin our theme? Am thinking on Horace, flat cap, brown roll neck, trousers and waistcoat - but will anyone else get who he is supposed to be?

How about a policeman outfit? - you could have a pair of handcuffs hanging from your wrist (unless you fancy being cuffed to your OH! lol)

Can anyone tell me if disney check that you are the original owner of the non expiry tickets and how it works upgrading them etc, I have the opportunity to get 2 that have 3 days left on them and want to know how they work.

only 25 days to go - can't wait!

    Hi Natters

Not sure about Disney as dont do the Disney thing but the other parks use finger print technology to allow you into the parks with your ticket so they may check your finger print against any on record for the expiring ticket.

I had someone elses tickets in march and put extra days on at guest relations fingerprints not checked there, they also issued new cards
  • The answer is probably 'no' but is there anway to avoid or reduce the cost to park at Disney parks?

I've read that its $10-$15 per day, would certainly add up over 2 weeks.

  • Hi - I was just wondering (even though I expect this question has been asked thousands of times before) if you lose your tickets, can you get a replacement? Don't plan to do this mind, but you never know! Many thanks

ps Also thinking of booking through Attraction-Tickets, can you tell me if this company is good to use?

Buy an Annual Pass or stay onsite.

    Otherwise, the cost is $14.

There is a way to park elsewhere but it is going to add significant time to your commute into the parks - perhaps an hour each way - so only you know if you're prepared to save $14 to waste 2 hours (approx). Personally, it's an expensive holiday in the first place, so to save on this is a false economy.

The Disney T&Cs stipulate that they are not transferable. Others have got away with it.
  • We are planning our first Florida hol for April (Easter) 2012 when our youngest will be 6 yrs old and most definately over 1.2m tall. I know I cannot book anything yet but starting on some research.
I have read a few pages back but I thought I could ask for a few quickish answers to get my research underway.

I thought a villa was the way to go (9 adults & 5 children) but most of you speak about onsite, what would you suggest bearing in mind we won't be doing the very wild rides (children between 6 & 10 in 2012)?

We can only do 14 nights so is it best to just get disney tickets & what do the tickets cover?

I am saving my clubcard vouchers (already have £500 = £2000 deals and get roughly £70 a qtr) earliest exp Aug 2011 so plenty of time. Has anyone used theirs to book their hol?

Thanks in advance for your help

Where are you staying? It is $14 a day in all of the theme parks. This is why we do not drive but get buses or a cab.
