There are some things you can cope with working slowly, but not a DVD player. You can get DVDs in Orlando that are dual region, but they tend to be more expensive than here, as here you would pick them up to watch imported DVDs before they are released, in the States there is less demand, mostly from the Brits who live there watching stuff sent from the UK.Moving onto a better place...Ciao :wave:0

Oh well, just have to play them on the Lappy instead
That'll do the trick, maybe get some decent travel speakers so your lappy has portable "surround sound"Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Hi, Looking for some advice for first trip to orlando. Would you guys recommend buying a sat nav here and taking on holiday or would I be better to hire one over there?
Does anyone know the average cost of hiring that and booster seat? Thanks in advance.0 -
we have a tom tom and take that but guessing you could pick at sat nav up at walmart cheaper than renting same with the booster seat.. although we take our booster seats too.. doesnt come into baggage allowance with virgin and they bag them up for you tooBit of a Florida Fan :j

Thanks maemaesmummy. We are flying with Virgin too. Is it just basic booster seats that you take?0

ooh can you help me out re booster seats. When virgin say they will take them, is that just a simple base flat seat - the type that a 5 or 6yr old would sit on...or do you mean the huge seat that a 2 yro ld might have. I have a 5yr old and 2 yr old and don't really want the huge expense of hiring seats, but DO want them strapped in safe...whats the best way of doing seats then?

We stayed at Fairfield Inn Easter 2008, it was great, we'd stay there again. The location is great, easy to get everywhere, less than 5 mins to Outlet Mall, Publix, Walgreens/CVS (can't remember which it was!)
The hotel was clean, staff friendly and helpful.
You can also use facilities at the other two marriott properties in 'the Marriott Village'.
