did you know that the members of parliament, gordon brown, alistair darling, the ministry of justice, the magistrates courts, the dwp and csa are all registered companies?, as we all know companies have shareholders who want to get paid, so how much of your money goes in the "peoples pot" and how much goes to the shareholders of the afforementioned comapnies pockets?, this "life" is a big hall of smoke and mirrors when you look into it a bit more closely, the bbc is allowed to operate by royal decree(hence they can charge a license fee) on the grounds that they must not show any bias, they have for many years been accepting millions of pounds from foreign governments and companies, which makes them biased, which due to the royal decree makes them guilty of treason against our soverign, and dont forget to check out the "labour party" trading as "alistair darling mp" purely due to his diplomatic status and the priviliges it affords them, you think these people work for us and for our benefit, they work for themselves and there shareholders only, Gordon Brown is not a politician for the people any more than david cameron is, they work for there companies to earn a profit, surely the expenses scandal has opened a few eyes?, as are the mp's who are now resigning-another smoke and mirrors operation, this is done for one reason only-to protect their pensions, who would i like to see in power? quite simply a decent, honest and trustworthy person-if there are any left in the house of commons, which i doubt very much sadly

My joke of a mother did a similar thing to my sisters dad. used him to get pregnant, got 3 bed apartment for all of us and then she kicked him out then got all the benefits and forced him to pay child maintenance. Joke is she wasnt spending the money on my sister and I watched all of this but i was a little girl. when i was old enough, i moved out because i saw her to do the same thing to my dad and she never had a leg to stand on when i moved out as i was my own responsibility.

my sisters dad hardly sees the girl but still forced to buys all her clothes, pays her school fees, pay for her to go on holiday because my mum has decided she wants to go on holiday and then on top of that pay maintenance and still doesnt get to see the girl unless my mother clicks her fingers.

its lovely being with a man with your children and having a nice time. This is something i'm hoping to have in five years, i'm going to have to wait a long time. If my husband is still badgering then i'd consider having another baby but not until our PWC is gone. I wont let another child live like our first one

The csa are nothing to do with the law, they only chase fathers when the woman is on benefits and too lazy to work, absolutely not true - if it were I would not have been paid the 25k my ex owed me - I have never been on benefits. if i were a woman and i posted that i was going to open my legs in order to live off of the state and get a free house would that be ok too?, talk about blinkered, the money the csa are after will not benefit my son in any way, yes it does, your son has already had the benefit of the money paid by the government for his upkeep it will merely go into the coffers of a highly incompetant governbent so they can buy moats and duckhouses and try to pay off some of the huge debts hey have accumulated, the csa are a run for profit registered company, they exist purely to make a profit and serve no purpose other than that,the CSA are not run for a profit - all money paid in goes either to the PWC or to the government to offset what has already been paid out in benefits believe the csa cost 25 million a year to run and only collect 12 million, so they are as incompetant as the governbent themselves that does not just say that, it also says how many NRPs don't pay, to date 61 nrp's have committed suicide after being mugged by the csa and having there existance ruined and many thousands of others are on the breadline and cannot afford to feed there children properly, and my taxes aren't enough to pay for her hb, ib and child benefit every week, do you also think i should pay for that as well as my son?, lets hope for your sake you never get in a relationship where your partner is at the recieving end of the csa and you and your children could end up homeless and pennyless through some too lazy to work bint

Oooops, sorry thought this was an open forum, just putting my opinion on here like anyone else, sooooo didnt mean to offend anyone. like I also said, nrp's ruin as many or more lives than the CSA!!! wasnt disagreeing with anyone, just putting my opinion forth as well

Everyone has the right to offend just as everybody has the right to be offended. If you are offended, what can we do? Accept your right to be so and move on. We are far too PC these days and forget that offending somebody does not ruin their lives!!! It may hurt feelings, but that is life!

back to the original question, it's typical of the policies introduced to tackle things in this country.

the majority are punished due to the actions of the minority. don't get me wrong, i'm not tryin to down play the actions of this so called fathers who don't pay, it's a disgrace, but it makes me feel very uneasy, knowing that this goverment has or will have these kind of powers:eek:

i fear that the ones it was intended to catch will still avoid it somehow, yet ordinary joe who's struggling and probably misses a few payments, gets to feel the full force of these powers.. sad times

I'll start by saying that I'm not saying your account is untrue; however I'd be very interested to discover how she managed all of that without any proof.

My (short versioned) story: My ex partner abused me for a number of years. I finally snaped when he turned on one of our children. She was a toddler at the time. He admitted it in court, served community service, and although he has no parental rights as we were not married at the time and the children were born prior to the new "birth certificate" legislation came into force, I was told I had to allow contact - by a social worker. Another Social Worker told me if I allowed him contact Social Work would be taking an interest in me. When I advised her what her colleague said, she rang me back later on in the day and said I had to allow contact but it had to be supervised. However they refused to provide the supervision, suggesting visits took place in MY home, yes - MY home with ME, a woman he'd violently attacked and whom was terrified of him.

Fast forward to the contact visits. Each and every one of them used by him as an attempt to convince me to reconcille with him; when I refused he would kick off, threaten to harm the children. I took matters into my own hands when he physically took one of our children. I got her back and I stopped contact, telling him to take me to bloody court if he wanted. He didn't, because ultimately he had absolutley no interest in the children other than to use them as a weapon.

He proceeded to harass me over a three (nearly four now) year period. He has assaulted myself, our children, my new partner, appeared at my place of work, my home, threatened to murder myself and my children and then commit suicide so we can all be together again - this was said to a policeman by my ex over the phone on loudspeaker when they were at my home taking yet another statement from me.

We have been to criminal court for the assaults and harassment (breach of the peace for harassment) no less than 6 times. It keeps getting adjourned. Now his latest court date he has failed to appear. A warrant has been granted for his arrest but I am told that the police will not actively pursue it. Basically if they happen to pick him up for something else, they will see the outstanding warrant.

Most of what he has done has been witnessed either by police or members of the public, some very credible people - and he is getting away with it. I ask myself how far he will have to go before something is actually done about him.

I can't get a restraining order because I have no address for him. The police won't co-operate in giving his address to my solicitor. A restraining order has to be served personally on him. Although restraining order is civil law where a case is based on the balance of probability rather than proven beyond all reasonable doubt, I have to submit as much non-arguable evidence as possible for it to be served with a power of arrest. I have no problem with evidence, I have it by the bucketload but with no address I can't get very far. It will cost me in the region of £800 - £2000 to get a restraining order. I don't qualify for legal aid. Great. So I get harassed and have the lives of my children, partner and I threatened and I have to pay for the priveledge of having it stopped. Isn't the justice system wired just fantastically?!

A criminal court cannot impose a restraining order on him. They have placed him on conditional bail (again) but once they actually get him in court for trial (again) any sentence he gets will not include a restaining order. These cannot be imposed in criminal courts, only civil courts.

No-one who is supposed to help me actually has done. I have taken many a thing into my own hands as he continually walks around scot free. It has however made me a much stronger person as a result and nowadays I take crap from no-one.

So from my point of view I am shocked that your ex managed to have all of these orders served on you without a shred of evidence to back up her cause. I don't disbelieve you, in fact I am disgusted. I am disgusted because these "fake claims" of domestics from "false victims" are what leads to genuine cases like mine being played down.

Lol!! Thanks for the support kellogs. the apology was meant a bit tongue in cheek as i found that some of the posts a bit mmmnnn (you know what i mean). All i care about is that the kids of any kind of partnership are supported. If someone disagrees with that, tough really!! :beer:
