I hate to point this out but they are your gonads and as such if you dont want kids then either keep it in your pants or put your wellies on so to speak just because this woman has behaved in this awfull manner does rid you of the responcibility of paying for the upkeep of your child regardless of whos care he is in. May i also point out i was not assuming in my post that it was just men refusing to pay I stated parents not fathers granted the example i used was from my own experience and just happened to be the father.

A word of advise to all men never take the word of a young girl (or any woman for that matter) that says she is on the pill for the risks to your own health if nothing else use a condom!!

Fact shes used him, and is now treating him appaullingly and the system we have in place is facillitating this and is still in the process of facillitating this.

but, if I were you I would try to provide for the child in some way. Dont lose sight of the fact that its his mother thats the b*tch not him. In fact I see it this way, your his only hope. You have a child out there be aware now what kind of relationship you want with him. yes they f*ck about with contact and make it impossible but the child will be eternally grateful that you tried and they will know who was doing right and who was doing wrong you will have to wait for the rewards. That is the whole point of his post he is annoyed because he has to pay child support, regardless of how this child came about he still has a responsibility to this child whether he agrees with that or not.

wow, im intrigued as to why you think its perfectly acceptable for a woman to play the system and intentionaly spend 16 years sitting on her backside on benefits doing nothing ?, did you read my post properly, she deliberatly and intentionaly got pregnant so she could get a free house and free money from the taxpayers for 16 years of her life, and thats ok with you? (she is not the only girl i know of who has done this either) She has never paid a single penny into the system where as i worked and payed tax and ni for 20 years, i also stated that i would have my son live with me and pay for his upkeeping but that counts for nothing? do you believe that the world owes you a living as well? The csa are nothing to do with the law, they only chase fathers when the woman is on benefits and too lazy to work, if i were a woman and i posted that i was going to open my legs in order to live off of the state and get a free house would that be ok too?, talk about blinkered, the money the csa are after will not benefit my son in any way, it will merely go into the coffers of a highly incompetant governbent so they can buy moats and duckhouses and try to pay off some of the huge debts hey have accumulated, the csa are a run for profit registered company, they exist purely to make a profit and serve no purpose other than that, i believe the csa cost 25 million a year to run and only collect 12 million, so they are as incompetant as the governbent themselves, to date 61 nrp's have committed suicide after being mugged by the csa and having there existance ruined and many thousands of others are on the breadline and cannot afford to feed there children properly, and my taxes aren't enough to pay for her hb, ib and child benefit every week, do you also think i should pay for that as well as my son?, lets hope for your sake you never get in a relationship where your partner is at the recieving end of the csa and you and your children could end up homeless and pennyless through some too lazy to work bint

Agreed.

And if you refer to my list above i've given him some ideas of things he can do to stop himself being 'done over' in the same manner again. problem for this poor fella is if he meets woman he loves and wants kids with her his particular PWC could just ruin it for him. Its not about the money for me its about quality of life and if his pwc is a b*tch then he's in for a hell of a 20yrs. The paying of the money pales by comparison to the emotional damage of these situations.

As blondbint pointed out - if someone doesnt want kids then that person should make sure they are safe, and not rely on the other party. We all know accidents happen but hey you cant blame someone else if you didnt protect yourself - i dont mean you specifically by the way, just talking in general.

lol, i do know what a condom is for, but i also trusted the word of my loved one/partner at the time, if i have to live in a world where i cannot trust a fellow human being then i would rather not live at all, no pun intended with the bint comment either blondie
i dont see trusting your partner that they are using contraceptives as either naieve or stupid, it was not a one night stand

I, like you,Kaya trusted my ex partner. we chose to have kids, we got married then had them. I didnt spring a surprise on him, they were as such planned - he chose to walk away from the family to try and lead an unfettered life with no commitments but tough, i am trying to make sure he supports said family (hard slog that it is) . So altho your situation is maybe different to mine, we both trusted someone who let us down and left us with a nasty legacy of distrust towards other people.
