Kaya we have never said it is acceptable and i do whole heartedly disagree with what she has done but to go into her wrong doing would be a whole new thread. The point is YOU chose to sleep with her YOU chose not to use a condom and take responcibility for your own actions and now you are a father regardless of what this woman has or has not done you still have a responcibility to the child!

Bit extreme :rotfl:the other poster did state that they both talked about contraception, so what more can he do sit her down and watch her take the pill. They were in a relationship where i suspect there was some amount of trust.

I do somehow think we aren't hearing the full story, i don't think you can just walk into a solicitor's office and demand an order be taken out on another person I suspect you need some involvement from the police (sure others will correct me if i'm wrong) Again with supervised visits and the removal of his name for the tenancy.

The half brother didn't just walk into this with his eyes closed now, surely he must take some "blame" also. If this pwc is so bad/evil then why is the other poster doing nothing?

Ok, i_hate_csa, in answer to your qu, no we were not informed of the CSA accessing bank accounts, well not until after they had done so anyway!! In our case this has had major implications for us, as when they did reassessment based on bank statements, they took all child benefit for 4 children for 28 months, tax credits for 4 children for 28 months, CSA monies for my step-kids from my wife's 1st marriage , and also her company reimbursement of expenses payments - ALL as assessable income. They then got LO, CCJ and interim charge on our property, as we now have Tribunal pending and CSA Appeals agree we do not owe this money - arrears were 34k. BIG MESS UP, if they had asked I could have shown them our statements, oh and best of all, when they have been asked by Tribunal to supply evidence against us, they have lost our bank statements - or they have been 'misplaced' I think by a certain staff member in Enforcement who is target driven, and now realises how much S**t is hitting the fan over our case. SL, MP, ICE, ICO and senior internal CSA personnel involved - big mess really, you agree?????

The csa are nothing to do with the law, they only chase fathers when the woman is on benefits and too lazy to work,

if i were a woman and i posted that i was going to open my legs in order to live off of the state and get a free house would that be ok too?, talk about blinkered, the money the csa are after will not benefit my son in any way,

it will merely go into the coffers of a highly incompetant governbent so they can buy moats and duckhouses and try to pay off some of the huge debts hey have accumulated, the csa are a run for profit registered company, they exist purely to make a profit and serve no purpose other than that, i believe the csa cost 25 million a year to run and only collect 12 million, so they are as incompetant as the governbent themselves, to date 61 nrp's have committed suicide after being mugged by the csa and having there existance ruined and many thousands of others are on the breadline and cannot afford to feed there children properly, and my taxes aren't enough to pay for her hb, ib and child benefit every week, do you also think i should pay for that as well as my son?, lets hope for your sake you never get in a relationship where your partner is at the recieving end of the csa and you and your children could end up homeless and pennyless through some too lazy to work bint

cos I agree with you Kaya. If you havent paid into the system you shouldnt be entitled to any payment from it. However, the system is what it is. IMO its for the bloke to lose and the woman to gain. (please note that this all encompasing sweeping judgmental statement is not a reference to ALL cases:D) just the money grabbing slappers.

So now its come full circle, when our sons go out for the night us mothers should be telling them to Keep their hand on their ha'ppeny. :rotfl:

the half brother dissapeared after the said event and has not been seen or heard of for the last 15 years or so by any member of his family, and fyi you can just walk into a solicitors office and get an order taken out if you lie and put on a few tears for the judge, the police were never involved at any point in the relationship, the supervised visits were a follow on from the order she had enforced as well, i have no history of drug or alcohol abuse, no history of violence, i have never been in trouble with the police either, and im still not sure how she managed the tennancy thing, in order to do anything i would have had o spend many thousands of pounds on tracing her, then tens of thousands of pounds in solicitors fees and lawyers just for her to move again or not turn up, we never agreed to have kids, we discussed contraception like grown ups should and AGREED that the pill was our best option, i did trust her, as we all do if our relationship is worth anything, and there was no "ooh, sorry love i forgot to take the pill" , it was "im pregnant, and i want you out of my life now", i suppose the warning i missed was that her mum was in and out of nuthouses for many years, but nobodys perfect, although she played the part well when it suited her

e.t.a. she now has 3 kids all by different dads and in the 38 years she has been alive she worked part time for 1 year, i believe her youngest is 7 now, so she will be living off your taxes for at least another 9 years :-)

Funny you should say that my son is only 7 and has already been infomred of the birds and the bees and knows what a condom is for obviously explained in a childs terms but the younger i can drum it into him the better and the less likely he will end up in a situation like kaya!

Just because her mother has mental health problems doesn't mean the daughter will have, again the system needs an overhaul. It's a legal loophole if you like.
