My FS said OPKs were less reliable when on clomid. The advice he gave me was to focus on activity on days 12 - 14. Not that it did any good!

Ov is tonight. BDd last night & this morning. OH drew the short straw of the 4 hour round trip to meet up for the occasion tonight. He's not happy about that - I reminded him that he would drive further if it was a football match or similar. TBH I could have quite easily fallen out with him last night - I had to bite my tongue as I didn't think it would be helpful when we had BDing to do.

Following on from the comment about wondering what it would feel like to be pg, I am not actually keen on the idea! It's a baby I want - not fussed about the whole pregnancy thing.

Hi, just de-cloaking from lurkdom for a mo:wave:

    I found out I have H pylori infection:shocked:
I'm going to get it disinfected asap.

But just to let you know, there could be a connection between pylori and infertility, both in male and females.

Also there may be a connection with PCOS and pylori.

    Just a thought;)

I won't answer any of the 'what's it like to be pregnant' questions......i'll let you all find out for yourselves. It's different for everyone anyway. I am pretty rubbish at the whole pregnancy thing so for me, it's a means to an end. For all you lot it will be wonderful and everything you have dreamed of. I promise :)

QQ - Lovely to see you. You're missed by a lot of people :A

Becca - You are so lucky. 2 weeks is so quick.

My first appointment consisted of recapping clinical history then a discussion about what the next steps would be - for me that was another CD21 test, 2 x SA for OH and booking my HSG. OH's SA's had to be done before they would put me on the waiting lists for the HSG.

Becca, glad that it's so soon.

You might have an internal ultrasound scan. I had one at mine. If you haven't had one before, it's not painful. A condom over a wand & stuck you know where!

As Lily said, there is a recap on history & what the results of any tests say. We didn't have to have any tests redone.

I then had my HSG the next day. It was so soon as it can only be done days 1 - 10 (I think) & the next day was day 10. As I was paying for it, I was able to get it quickly. It was £450 - I didn't realise this at the time. Probably a good job as at that price (& not knowing as much as I do now), I probably would have said to try something else first - not sure what I thought that might be! However it showed that my tubes were blocked & I had to have surgery to unblock. Therefore the HSG was essential for my diagnosis.

If only I had known that at the beginning of TTC - would have saved many wasted months.

Thanks ladies. We are very lucky indeed, the lady booking it couldn't believe it either. She thinks it must be a cancellation and I just literally caught it!

I'm guessing we will run through previous gynae history (quite a lot of it) and then DH's SA results will sway the rest, not had the results back yet. I've had all bloods, swabs and DH has had a SA. I've had an external and internal scan and been diagnosed with PCOS.
