Oh having one of those days that I could just cry
And over stupid things
Arrrrgggghhhhh
Hope your all having a fabby weekend x:A VK :A0 -
Hugs BZ. That's early (appreciate you didn't want it at all). How long was cycle? I'm not expecting AF to show until sat - although hopefully she doesn't. FS quick with bill this month so £300 to pay out even before 2ww is over.0

TTC40, you remind me I have a quick financial question for those doing self-pay IVF.
Do you have to pay for additional blood tests? They are giving me a blood test at each scan, I believe to check estrogen, but its £50 each time. Since I've paid a good £5k for the ICSI cycle, it seems like something that would be included!
Also, for those that have done a FET - did you have to pay again for the transfer? I'm not doing a transfer at all this cycle, so part of me feels the cost should be slightly lower. But I suppose 90% of the work has been done before transfer.
Maybe they will give me a discount on the freezing if we get that far!0 -

Can't help in your question T2D, but my blood test was £60. You're getting a MSE bargain - LOL!

We have had had to pay for bloods, mine were £200. Mr h was slightly less as he had more on NHS. We have also had to pay for each consultation individually as it happens, 1 with urologist, 3 with fertility consultant and 1 nurse appointment. Mr h also had his PESA at £900 and we had to pay £4750 for the ICSI before it started. For that we will get our fresh transfer and a frozen (if necessary and the quality is good enough). Freezinng and storage for 1 year is included. I appreciate that your circumstances are different re FET though so I would probably ask for a discount
ETA-just reread your post and realised that you are being asked to pay for bloods at a later stage, I think that's a bit poo and should have been covered by the big cost0 -
Peonie - I had high prolactin and thyroid levels, they discovered I had an underactive thyroid problem which was quite bad but I had no symptons. I am not on medication and its no big deal.
T2D - We paid £5000 for our ICSI cycle and the we paid about £800 in total for our FET, this included scans and transfers but we didn't haave any blood tests.BEST WIN LAST YEAR - MULBERRY HANDBAGSENDING STICKY VIBES TO THOSE WHO NEED THEM0 -

CD14 for me today and no sign of ovulation. Been really 'wet' since CD5 and my OPK's have been all over the place. Gone from positive to negative within the space of about an hour some days. Temps are still rock-bottom too.
Feeling a bit flat. I was wrong to expect it to be a miracle cure but can't help but feel sad.
Big hugs zippy. That's a pretty carp cycle.14th October 201020th October 20113rd December 20130 -

It's not helping me feel like this could happen without further intervention though "I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0
