Right, that got me sobbing... Maybe I should play this to anyone who decides suddenly to tell what to do, or like one of my friends keeps telling me about another friend of hers that had to go down the IVF route and has twins now. I know things worked out for her, but we are still empty handed and it pretty damn hurts when everyone knows they know better and keep saying that it will happen one day! That one day better come soon...
Sorry, I thought I had it all together for this time... Seems not...
Know exactly what you mean, someone always knows someone who blah blah blah, had to put the phone down on my mum today with the wise words all you need to do is relax
Legacy - hello im sorry to hear you have been through so much, are you still on clomid?
I want to share here something I put on the other board about tablets I read in the healthy mag I started taking them all today see how they work
zinc - is an essential component of genetic material. A deficiency can cause chromosome changes in men or woman, leading to reduced fertility and an increased risk of miscarriage. Zinc is found in high concentrations in the sperm, and is needed to make the outer layer and the tail of a healthy sperm
Dose both take 25mg a day
Folic Acid - your body needs folic acid to produce DNA. It helps protect unborn babies from developing spina bifida
Dose - both you and your partner should take 400mcg a day, along with vitamin B6 (50mg) and B12 (25ug)
Selenium - helps protect the body from free radicals and can prevent chromosome breakage, known to be a cause of birth defects. Its also essential to maximise sperm formation.
Dose - Both you and your partner should take 50ug twice a day0 -
Aw thanks guys got a call from fertility clinic this morning and we should be getting appointment letter soon0

Welcome Nichart and Legacy
I'm so glad (in a positive way - no offence intended to anyone! (disclaimer) that it's not so chatty on this thread as the other. Not been on the computer for a few days and I can't keep up over there. Here I feel more at home...
Things still aren't good for me ......
Had to take the dog back to kennels after 4 weeks as she definitely couldn't live with cats (the only stipulation we gave at the adoption place) we were managing it in our house with kitty upstairs, but seeing the dog shaking a kitty (which she caught whilst on her lead) was the last straw. I couldn't face going into the garden and seeing next doors cat in pieces. Reluctantly, as in all other ways she was a star, I took her back, we've both been in tears .... and DH has done nothing but eat C**P and sleep since lunchtime yesterday. He was so attached .....
So now thats' something else for me to cry about - I just can't stop ....not done anything for Christmas (and normally well planned) and actually just want to cancel it. My family (who live 200 miles away) are doing a secret santa for couples, so that means me and DH will get one present in total all christmas. of course I thought we'd be pg by now and are not, we only have one friend to socialise with (all our couple friends moved away - not taking it personally lolx) and without the dog to exercise can't see us going out for months now .......
On positive note - DH has had second SA and even without the results the second dr seemed more positive than the first. We're working Christmas Day and hopefully organising something for young people with nowhere to go. DH has given up alcohol for a month!

Hope you enjoyed the cookies cedrickerry, they certainly help!
I am so sorry you are having a tough time at the mo, your decision re the dog must have been very tough to call, but I have to say I am annoyed that they gave you the dog and put you in this situation, if you specified that it needed to get on with a cat, they have failed you big time. A very big decision to give him back, you should be proud of yourselves for putting the animals first and making the right decision for them. Can you get another dog to fill the void? Tough I know but many dogs can learn to get on with cats - it may be worth trying again.
Your christmas sounds fantastic, you should be proud that you will be enjoying the true spirit of christmas and helping others XXXXXX

Warning - moaning coming!
Why people feel an urge or need to post on MSE that they got pregnant or asking should we have a baby, what is essential? I think there are always one or two of each every month - can't they just do the search?... Everytime I see one now saying 'I am pregnant', 'I want a baby he doesn't', 'what do I need for baby', etc, I want to scream! There is a pregnancy thread - it is always at the top, so go there and announce your pregnancy. There is MSE parents thread, so if you want any advice on what to get - go there and ask... If you can't agree between yourself if both of you want a baby or not, maybe MSE forum is not the best place to ask!
Sorry... I had to let it out...Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -

Yes please I am all :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: this evening.
I have had tomorrows medical cancelled, which I had psyched myself up for for nothing, but worse than that my IVF clinic have rung and cancelled my trial embryo transfer next week. Can I come Friday they said - no i :mad::mad: cant I said - Day 14 - 18 they said, and that is day 18. Friday is day 21.:mad: So, they will speak to my consultant and let me know what they are going to do. I shall be so disappointed if it is cancelled for this month, I was hoping to go ahead next month for real, if it can be worked around my next colposcopy. So not happy.
Sorry for the excessive use of (not)smilies! I am peeved.
