T2D - Glad the news on the cancer seems more positive, but sorry the clinic and the treatment seems less positive. But like others have said it wouldn't be good for them to get your hopes up, especially as they have no idea how you will respond to the treatment. I guess there is no guarantee for anyone. We are completely unexplained infertility, no identifed issues, and i was a poor responder to treatment, but we are now pregnant. So fingers crossed for you and that you have something to work with. Don't give up hope.
Runner - sorry to hear about the bleed, but really pleased you've seen the bab, and have a scan picture. Keep focused on it. How far are you now?
Hope everyone else is well and staying positive over this difficult time of year.SPC 18 Target £200 /0 -
Have any clomid ladies experienced mid cycle bleeding? I bled from days 9-15 last month, more than spotting but less than a period, and it freaked me out a little. More cos I thought how can the embryo implant if I've just bled away my womb lining! The doc said not to worry, but of course I did.
I haven't experienced thisRunnerduck wrote: »time2deal, i had slightly different protocol to the others on my last 2 cycles, where there is no downregging you have your period then have a scan on day 3 then 12-14 days of the stim drugs, they tend to do this if you are older or a poor responder my consultant says, it's called the short protocolt.
well an update from me, i started bleeding red blood yesterday afternoon, so the clinic booked us in for a scan this morning, had a sleepless night and managed to get myself in a bit of a state, i was shaking as she was scanning me then we saw a perfect heartbeat and i burst into tears, they were lovely and did lots of checksnd the measurements are perfect. i am still bleeding, though not as much so they are going to lower my dose of clexane to see if that helps, and they are giving me weekly scans to stop me worrying.
Great news!
T2D - really pleased on the results. As the others have said, the clinics have to manage expectations I suppose - let's hope that you are the one with eggs - and if you're not then you have a positive plan.0 -
Runnerduck - that sounds so scary, but glad it confirmed all ok.
T2D - I guess they have to give you worse case scenario to fully prepare you. Good news on the cancer being small, now time to beat that little !!!!!!!
Well, Xmas has helped my weight gain - put on half a stone, didn't think it was possible! Half a stone to go...0 -
Hi all - would anyone like a free stash of ov and pg testing strips (internet cheapies). Still in date. Having a clearout before baby arrives and am loathe to throw them out (see, MSE through and through!). First to PM me their address gets them.

Cd1 for me today and I have got my cbfm out for first time in months. We cannot afford another go at ivf and so we are going to try the sperm meets egg plan for 3 months. I have fairly regular cycles and so have a fair idea when I ov but thought I would get cbfm back out to make sure particularly as the ivf has changed my cycles a bit.0

runner - glad to hear the bleeding's stopping, and wonderful news about the scan. Hope you're all ok today x.
T2D - fingers crossed for the egg collection. Really hope the cancer treatment goes well and is as un-invasive as it can be for you.
WTDN - glad you're pleased with your post-christmas weight.0 -
