Sorry I'm quiet, I am reading along and am very glad the bleeding's better runner and that you got some better news about your treatment prognosis t2d, but also fighting my own demons right now, so lurking mainly


Cd9 and high on cbfm with visible LH line already, for the last 2 days. Got some digi opks and conceive+ on the way (DH ordered them!) but not sure if they'll get here in time for this cycle...

Tea - FANTASTIC news about the cancer. Really hope they get some eggs this cycle. Sounds positive about the future too. You can have some of my eggs. I want to donate some at some point anyway.

Hello,

a little background information:

Me (27) and my husband (28) have been TTC since July 2011 when I came off the pill, since then I have only had a handful of periods, it takes a cocktail of Provera and Clomid to make me have periods and ovulate. I have been on Clomid since May and had 4 successful cycles.

I am also now taking Metformin to help with the Clomid. since starting I have lost 2 stone taking me from overweight to healthy.

I went back to my Doctor yesterday after 3 months without a period (again!) and he has started me on Provera again to kick start my cycle.

He says the next step is so check my tubes, injections of something similar to Clomid? and putting holes into my ovaries (like a golf balls?).

Is there anyone in a similar position to me? or just a kind word would help me out, its really been getting me down as it has completely messed up all my plans (moving, new job) It makes it harder having PSO as I never know when to expect my period and so lots of hopeful days/weeks.

Thank you for reading. I have poped on here a few times, but I was not ready to share, I thought it can't be me, one of a few who find it so hard

Sorry sarah, IC opk's don't work for me, so didn't see the point in taking them off you. I'm sure someone on the ttc thread would snap your hand off if noone on here does?

Welcome little miss, I have PCOS and endometriosis and uncertain tubes. Sounds like they're talking about ovarian drilling for you? Also been given progesterone previously and am on 3rd cycle of clomid now. You're not on your own

Hi all - just popped in to see how everyone's doing &give an update

Seen FS finally did usual scans etc told keep taking metformin & come back April when lost some weight (great thanks for that)

Won't give clomid as they want to do hsg but won't do that until lost weight... Talk about vicious circle!!!

Oh we'll weight loss here we come!

Apparently doc said its will give better results... Sounded like a fob off!
