Thanks. The ibruprofen should do it.
For me it was like an uncomfortable smear - not that there's a comfortable type!
I left the office, went to the hospital, was done and went straight back to work. Just made sure I had a sanitary pad. I didn't have any time to think about it as I saw the FS one evening and had it done next day.
I didn't get any results then. Mine showed that both my tubes were blocked.
Everyone is different, but if I was told I had to have it done again I wouldn't fear it.0 -
I'm also in the quietly pleased for you corner runner
ttc40 I've got my fingers crossed for you too but also fascinated by the accuracy of their timings lol
I got told 'your tubes are fine' after my HyCoSy, presumably they only say if it's good news and let bad news be discussed with your doctor xLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

Question ladies,
Is there any possible way that inseminating using a syringe would be better than doing it the old fashioned way?14th October 201020th October 20113rd December 20130 -

i'm sorry i can't really help you there as we have no hope without ivf, but i would'nt think it would'nt make a lot of difference, as either way they are ending up where they need to be0 -

I couldn't seen how it would make a difference either. I suppose I'm desperate to try something else to see if it makes a difference. Ridiculous i know. I wondered whether injecting spuff directly into my cervix might make a difference. For some reason I'm thinking maybe my insides are broken :rotfl:14th October 201020th October 20113rd December 20130 -
Lilymay, so long as you do it as well as the traditional way, not instead of, then no reason not to try.
In general, its not quite so good, because the little guys die off quite quickly outside of the body, so you need to get it from your dude to your cervix super quick and can't let it hang around for a while. The only reason they survive so long in the body is because your fertile CM is a good environment for them, and is also nice and warm.
I am told (ahem) that the best way to do it is by using a kids oral syringe. ie one without a needle attached . A 10 or 20ml one will do and doesn't need to be full.
Good luck0 -
lilymay - One of my friends is adamant she got pregnant that way. Although sadly she later sufferd a miscarriage, although that was unrelated to the way she conceieved.
And i guess anything is worth a try.SPC 18 Target £200 /0
