I'd best make the effort tonight then. Although at the moment it really does feel like a massive effort. Won't be ovulating for another few weeks yet so maybe I'll have another night off lol.0

Quick question, when booking an appointment with the gp's to talk about fertility is it best to talk to the actual Doctor, Nurse, or Nurse Practitioner. My Doctor isn't exactly the person I would want to talk about ttc with, he's always a bit vague. But my Nurse Practitioner is a lovely lovely woman, that has been so lovely when dealing with my depression, she's the sort of person I would like to talk to, but not sure whether that's who you are meant to discuss it with.Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0

vesper - I think it depends on what sort of outcome you're looking for. AFAIK, if you need a referral to a FS, or further tests such as u/s etc I think the requests have to come from the GP. (Please feel free to correct me if that's totally wrong!) However, if a chat with someone understanding would help then imo it wouldn't hurt to see the NP first. If nothing else, they can be great at making appts with the GPs when the receptionists say there isn't anything for another millenium.
Good luck with it x.0 -
Vesper - I too think you need to see go to get referral and organise blood tests. However if you would feel better discussing it with the nurse first then this could be a first step before you see the gp which might get things clearer in your head so you know exactly what to say to the gp.0

Hugs Lily. Open the chocolates
I've gone straight to the cheesecake!:rotfl:
Question though:
I just took my bra off and my breasts feel like they could fall off. They are so swollen, engorged almost, and very very tender. I never, ever get sore breasts and the only time they have hurt like this was when I had mastitis after DD was born.
I've been having really bad cramps for about a week now too, like AF has been trying to arrive for ages. Does progesterone produce there sorts of symptoms? That's the only thing I've done differently this cycle...14th October 201020th October 20113rd December 20130 -

Sorry about CD1.
Unfortunately, the answer to your question is yes. The reason why SS is so insidious when TTC is that the rising progesterone before AF mimics exactly early pregnancy symptoms. So sore breasts, tiredness, bloating and sickness are all often caused by high progesterone
