    ok (quickly while DH is away, as he won't like sharing this!)
    Reference values: WHO 2010
    Volume >= 1.5ml
    ph >=7.2
    motility: 40%
    Morphology >=4%
    concentration >=15m/ml (I think this is count)
    32% forward progressions
    Viability >= 58%
    Round cells <=5 million/ml
    ASAb: <50%. No idea what this is.

    Seeing as we are all comparing SA results...:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Volume: 2.14ml
    pH: 8.5

    MOTILITY

    Progressive: 33.75%
    Non Progressive: 4.25%
    Immotile: 62%
    Total Motility: 38%

    Sperm Numbers:

    Concentration: 44.5million / ml
    Total Number: 95.23 million

    Morphology

    Normal Forms: 14%

    I also have this written at the bottom of our results sheet...

    Parameter Lower Reference Limit

    Volume: 1.5ml
    Total Sperm Number: 39million
    Sperm Concentration: 15million per ml
    Total Motility: 40%
    Progressive Motility: 32%
    Vitality: 58%
    Sperm Morphology: 4% Normal Forms

    TeamLowe - It looks like your OH has brilliant motility, reasonable number and a little below what is considered adequate morphology.

    Those figures I posted were actually the reference values on DH's SA test. His numbers were good Mobility, just about ok count, and low morphology.

    The biggest step he has taken so far is to stop spending 10 hours a day with the laptop on his lap, to stop the boys heating up. I'm working up to asking him to start taking some tablets etc.

    (while trying to avoid the voice in my head saying 'doesn't matter - you feel slightly odd, so maybe caught this month. Don't worry yourself with the little matter of surgery today - tis irrelevant!')

    Glad he's through that ok mrshappy, and things look ok so far :D

    T2D, you're on far better form than I was after the lap! My blood pressure tanked, I was fit for nowt!

    TeamL, I've got nothing helpful too say about the SA - my FS just gave me a "it's fine" answer when I asked what it actually was :cool: I'm feeling left out of the show & tell now! :p

    I've had those "helpful" comments before though...:angry: my dad said I looked tall & thin today though, so I'll take that and run (figuratively ;)) with it! ;)

    Good job I'm nowhere near the 2ww, else I'd be half convincing myself that my overwhelming excruciating tiredness was something beany, rather than having M.E. in winter! :o:p

    Am I the only one that begrudges the cbfm asking for sticks when AF's still hanging around like a bad smell? :cool: I'm getting shilly-shallied here Tea!

    Hi everyone,

    Sorry I've not replied, but I've been waiting for a quiet moment at work with no-one looking over my shoulder!

    TeamLowe: This was a clomid cycle that should have been an iui but was abandoned because of a thin lining, so best of luck to the other clomid buddies. I was told to go home and do my 'homework' and we conceived that way (although it still feels odd saying it...). And what a horrible, horrible Doctor you had. Poor you. My OH has a good count but low motility...he just said they were laid back like him. It just takes one good swimmer!

    time2deal: I absolutely understand the conflicting emotions which is why I felt so odd posting. Reading about BFP's made me so pleased for people and yet I had a hollow feeling in my chest at the same time.

    I don't think it will be much help to say the things I did differently, because more than ever I think so much is down to luck, but this month I got drunk several times and at the worst times (oops), missed my ovulation day and just BD a couple of days before, and completely gave up hope and bought books on IVF.

    Hugs and love to everyone out there...

    Excellent ! I think I did all those things this month, so I will expect a bfp then!

    But seriously, congrats - and what do fs’s know about lining it seems. :T

    Hi, second post here. Went to the doctors today to kick off investigations as to why nothing is happening. Blood tests are scheduled for over Christmas and Mr P needs to give his permission for sperm tests. I won't hold my breath. I've been trying to get him to go for one for over a year.

    The Dr said as I have endometriosis my hormones could be at the incorrect levels. I asked wouldn't it be simple to have a hormone injection instead. But apparently its a case of having too many hormones. I wish he said which one.
