Hopefully your appointment comes through quickly, although my consultant said all of the above to me and my HSG was done almost 3 months to the day after I saw her. My hospital does 2 clinics a month and is very busy. The waiting list is huge.

Hey it's not Liverpool is it!?!

WTDN - I had HSG & found it only a little more uncomfortable than a smear. I too took ibruprofen before I went in. Also, take a sanitary pad.

Hi TTC40, thanks I will remember that :)

Managed to BD 5 times in 4 days - time for a rest now! I know some people do it most days anyway - not us!

Well done! I hate the monthly under pressure enforced BDing! This month has been horrendous as I've been off work sick with 'the squits' on the vital days. And we still managed to do it! Worst ever! haha! The things we do...

Hope everyone is feeling OK on this Sunday evening. Off to watch Homeland now xxx

No, not Liverpool but I am in the NW. :o

Still not heard anything about my next appointment :( Going to phone the hospital on Friday is I'm still without a date. 3 weeks after the HSG is enough time for them to send me a letter out surely? :rotfl:

Oh - we have been moved to "Moneysaving Couples". Nice - just to emphasize that we are not welcome on the Mums board.

    Nice...

I'm well thanks. I decided a few months ago to accept that our family was complete and abandon any further attempts to add to it, and although I am still adjusting to that, it was the right decision for us I think. Still read this thread though for news of my compadres. xx

Oh Nicki, I'm very sad to hear that, but glad for you at the same time and hope that you can find some peace with your decision. I know for me that often what is hardest for me to deal with is the seeming never endingness of it all. (It's even driving me to make words up!)

Hi, just popping back to say I had my 20 week scan today and everything seems to be normal and as it should be.

I still find it hard to believe, 5 years in the making and we have our little frozen embryo transfer miracle.

Good luck to everyone, remain strong and positive. x

I'm really heavily feeling that we have reached the end of the very long road we have travelled. While I still desperately want a family I can't face the thought of more treatment, more drugs the pain and heartbreak and putting our lives on hold for even longher than it has been.
It has been 12 long, painful years and I could write a (dull, depressing and downright misery filled) book about it but I just want to move on. Not a great day or an inspiring post ladies, sorry :-(

We're here for the good news, the sad news & everything inbetween. So don't worry about it - we're here to listen. There aren't any words that will make your journey any less painful, but know that we understand, and empathise. I must confess to having similar feelings myself - I'm so tired of s e x with DH being limited to BD'ing at certain times of the month. It should be fun, dammit ! And it's not. It's really not. I'm sick of watching pregnant friends. I'm tired of living in 2 week chunks of time. And.. Breathe! I do hope you're ok, Lisa, & I've got wine here anytime you'd like a virtual glass or three :)

Juju :D hurrah!! I do love hearing about graduates though!! Glad your scan was good. :)
