Well, still "high" on cbfm (and lily white OPK last night) but the scan this morning showed 3 follicles all 2ish cm (and some tiny ones, thanks to pcos). There was one that had burst but they couldn't tell if it was from last cycle (I think it was, but we've dtd for the last 6 out of 7 days, either way
). So, clomid appears to be working and ov is pretty imminent... fingers crossed!
P.s. Dh was excited by the concept of triplets!"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -

Brill news. Will they scan me on my cycles of clomid do you think? Unlike a lot of people i've met, the prospect of multiples makes me deliriously (sp) happy as opposed to worried. Fingers crossed for you!!14th October 201020th October 20113rd December 20130 -
Hi all,
BZ - does that mean you are OV'ing but nothing showing on the OPK's? That's quite interesting. As the OPK tests LH surge, I wonder does that have any other meaning? Like - low LH = late ov or something... anyway, something for our overactive brains to contemplate!
I thought I'd update on my various dramas. We have a follow up with the FS on Wednesday, which I expect to be depressing. We'll get the updated SA result, which hopefully won't be *quite* as bad as the last one if it was done in time, but I'm still not expecting much.
Then the colposcopy for the bad smear result in Friday morning. So much time wasted this week trying to get the referral completed, and then book in a consultation. AF is due today or this weekend, so I've had to book towards the end of next week to make sure it's gone. First time in awhile I have been hoping AF does arrive.
DH has taken a small step forward and has at least got himself a little table for the laptop. As he spends a lot of the day with a hot laptop on his lap it's been suggested this could be (one) of the issues causing low sperm count. I'm hoping the FS gives him a clear plan and things to do, as he doesn't really listen to me!0 -
I'm on 50 dose. I have a fairly regular cycle and usually ov cd12-14.
No sure if its actually of benefit as I don't have the usual problems it solves - but I guess time will tell.0 -
Hello all, hope everyone's doing ok and keeping their chins up
All much the same as ever here. Currently on round 3 of clomid (100mg this time), CD19 (I think, may be 20) and still no sign of ov. Clomid seems to be making ov later and later so not holding my breath it will happen anytime soon.
Feeling quite down about it all atm, not helped by work being a complete PITA. Got 2 interviews next week and my head's going round in circles with what to do. On the one hand I would LOVE to leave my current job, on the other hand I feel really bad about going somewhere else and then needing time off for appts, treatments and hopefully mat leave. But hey, I probably won't get either of the jobs so it's not really something I need to think about too much for now I guess.
Right, am off to get the chocolate and the knitting out and have a relaxing evening. Have a lovely weekend all, take care x.0 -

Hi Tea.
Sorry to hear that clomid doesn't seem to be working for you yet. Maybe your body just needs a few cycles to get it going? What's the next step for you if it doesn't work.
I know it's a way off yet (I hope...!) but i've just been looking at IVF with egg donation. It really brings the cost down to a manageable level and ive found 2 local clinics that do it privately. Makes me feel slightly more positive that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Sort of.
Try and be positive about getting those jobs! If you go in there being negative about yourself it'll show straight away. They wanted to interview you so they obviously think you have something to give! :T:T PMA PMA PMA
Chocolate sounds like a great idea but I'm on a diet14th October 201020th October 20113rd December 20130 -

Ttc40 is the only exception I've heard of/remembered where she hasn't had her first clomid cycle monitored with a tracking scan and/or blood test. Ttc40 is private though, and I'm nhs, I think it's standard practice in the nhs...?
I'd love twins, but I think with my health I'd struggle with the physical demands. There's also much more complications with multiple pregnancy & births and that scares me, especially after kitten_pie's tragedyI'm very happy to take whatever we are given, gratefully, though
T2d, I've not ov'd yet I don't think - 3 follicles ready though, and I think at this point in an IVF cycle I'd've been sent home to do a trigger shot? So I'm hoping for a peak on cbfm tomorrow morning or sunday at the latest. And the LH surge can be incredibly short to catch with opks, remember. I only chanced one last night cos I was intrigued, and found one in the cupboardThe cbfm hadn't peaked yet either. Having said that, I've never had a true positive on an OPK yet, and I've only used ICs. But then my cycles have never been this "good" before, but I'm so bored with ttc now that I cba to do them religiously how you're supposed to, and no idea how long I'd held my pee for last night's before doing it on a whim
Lily I'm on 50mg a day for 5 days too. I think I have a shorter LP than ttc40 naturally on a similar length cycle, so maybe that's why I'm still waiting...? Cd14 tomoz so we'll see
 teabeen wondering how you were doing

My FS said that as everything else seem normal , no need to monitor.
That's probably why I don't think clomid will make a difference ...,,0 -
...temp is not that low today, I don't think I'm going to ovulate again this cycle.
This totally totally sucks. If there's no ovulation by next week I'm ringing the consultant, the lady I saw said if the metformin stops working again I could increase the dose to 2000mg so maybe they'll be quick with a prescription. Or if I'm lucky they'll bring forward the clomid as I've lost my faith in the metformin and would rather not be taking it if its doing sod all.
And all because my cycles messed up after having my miscarriage, which makes me panic even more that that was my one shot at being a mum

TL, I have been trying to think of something positive to say to you all day, but I'm still failing to come up with anything good
I've been there. It's crap. I hated how many chances other ttc ladies would get compared to my cycles. I hope you get it sorted one way or another soon. My tuppence on the metformin would be to try something in addition rather than instead of. If you've had a GTT and it's shown insulin resistance then, yeah, I'd up the dose, but otherwise I wouldn't bother tbh.
AFM (and not to rub it in TL) - cd14 and Peak on the CBFM!
The opk ICs are still not showing positives though, barely a visible line tbh, so they just obviously mustn't agree with me  Might get some CB ones next cycle if this one isn't The One. Is it true you can use CBFM sticks with CB digi OPKs??
