Good evening ladies,
I hope everyone is as well as can be, I have been reading along, but as usual my brain is mush and I can't remember what I was going to say to who
Congrats CCM :T
:grouphug: for all those who want/need a dodgy hug
AFM-we have now saved enough for our one try at ICSI  have been to see the urologist and in the process of sorting out getting mrh in for the sperm retrieval, which should be in the next couple of weeks. Scary stuff, I am questioning the sanity of what we are doing at the moment-my mum is very ill just now (I'm not dealing with that very well at all) and I have taken over the care she provided for my gran, I have just started another OU course and work full time........but I/we have always wanted to get the ICSI well under way before I hit 40 in December.
Will try to post as I'm reading so I remember what to say0 -
Good luck mrs h. I hope your mum's better soon and that helping your gran isn't too much of a strain.
The rumour mill at dh's work is rife with speculation that dh has got the job he went for (interview was today)... I really hope they're right"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
MrsH - good luck with icsi and really hope your mum gets better soon
BZ - keeping fingers crossed DH gets the job!
AFM - suffering with bad headaches and acid reflux both caused by stress. Had refexology on Saturday to help with acid reflux but still really bad. Need to wait now until after payday to book massage to help with headaches.0 -
Have you tried omeprazole for your reflux, Primmer? You can get it over the counter."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0

Congrats CCM! Very good news.
Waves to everyone else, and hugs if needed. I have my 20-week scan tomorrow, will let you know how it goes.0 -
sarah - best of luck for tomorrow, bet you can't wait to see him/her again.
primmer - hope today's a better day for you... and hope payday's not too far away!
BZ - fingers tightly crossed for your DH's job, when will he hear?
mrshappy - congratulations on saving enough for the ICSI. Will be keeping you, your mum and your gran in my thoughts and prayers.
Evil metformin is still trying to kill me. It hadn't been too bad for a couple of weeks but now I'm back to 'too scared to leave the house'. Am working from home today to be on the safe side (that and the fact I hate my job and am bored to tears). Kept dreaming I had really bad stomach cramps then woke up and did have them. I like the fact my mind just incorporated them into my dreams rather than waking me up lol.

Mrs Happy, congratulations on the saving! was it harder/easier than you thought? hope things with your family improve x x
BigZ good luck to Mr Z and his job!
Primmer i second fluffnutter, omeprazole is the shiznit!
Sarahs999 ooh i hope you have a lovely scan, are you finding out what you're having? i've always said i wouldn't in the hope that people don't get me pastel pink/blue things as i hate those colours and prefer very bright ones. but they're guna wait til the birth then aren't they lol
Tea Lover I still have issues with my metformin but it's more, when i forget what i'm doing, you know? like yesterday i had no dinner and eat a few sweets so in the evening i had terrible diaharrea. but i really should know not to do that by now lol maybe you could keep a diary of what you're eating and how the side effects are and see if you can see a pattern? or if not then you can at least say to the doctors 'this isn't helping me'
Then again i'm 'naturally' constipated after having my gallbladder removed so to me it's better as i hated the pain that came with constipation x xLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

I do that too tealover. Do you have ibs too? My ibs flares with my hormones, and therefore at different points of my cycle - maybe it's that?
Dh should hear by friday...but really hoping for today! *nibbles on fingernails nervously*
Good luck sarah, can't believe how fast 20 weeks has gone (but I bet it hasn't for you). Can you feel him/her moving yet?

Thanks Fluff & Team Lowe - I will try some omeprazale and see how I get on!
Sarah - how exciting, do let us know how you get on at the scan.
Tealover - hope the cramps improve soon
BZ - hope dh finds out today and it is good news
Got a phone call from the clinic and I have an appointment for Monday afternoon to discuss the unsuccessful treatment and to suggest what could be done differently next time. Was pleased I could get seen so quickly and I already have Monday booked off work as taking the dog to the groomers in the morning so don't have to worry about work. Need to sort out a list of questions before I go to the appointment as I know otherwise I will forget to ask things!0 -
I do that too tealover. Do you have ibs too?
No IBS but I did already have bowel probs as that's where the worst of my endo adhesions are/were. I'm usually shockingly constipated (apologies for TMI) but now I just seem to veer between the two... which is worse I think.
Oh well, just got to keep my fingers crossed it's actually doing something good in there.
TeamLowe - a food diary is a good idea, thanks. Am now trying to remember what I ate yesterday but my memory is truly shocking... can't have been very exciting!
Primmer - best of luck for monday's appt. Hope you get some answers and a plan for where to go from here x.0
