Thanks, girls, for the info. I wonder if I can find out wether Liverpool do HSG or HyCoSy somehow...
Thanks for the reassurance!I don't mind telling you - I freaked out about the HSG before I had it done!...it still was nowhere near the kind of ordeal I'd been worrying about
I was worried about having to have the internal scan so made sure i drunk enough water but had to keep going to the hospital loo to do a tiny pee (worried my bladder was going to actually burst)
I said to the scanny person (official name?!) i think my bladder might be too full, he said "it can never be too full" - bet hes never had to have one of the damn scans!
Fingers crossed for tomorrow Primmer x0 -
Primmer I've got everything crossed for you.. I bet they are just being shy ((hugs))
Sarahs99 you're very welcome to stay, I love that graduates come back. Gives me hope
No sign of AF yet .. Temp high this morning. Hard not to get my hopes up even when I know it's unlikely. I'll test on Sat if there's still no sign. When people show you who they are, believe them the first time0 -
Awww Primmer, I am really sorry to hear that. On both of our fresh cycles we only managed to fertilise 2 and that was with ICSI. They never told us about the division until we were there for the transfer so i didnt know how they were progressing. Fingers crossed that they get there little ar*es into gear and get dividing.
Thinking of you.
And Juju the reason i don't have faith in FET is because i have had two BFP's with fresh, but failed with FET. But i know there are success stories with both.SPC 18 Target £200 /0 -

No idea which they do at Liverpool WTDN, but maybe if you google the hospital and fertility, or something, a chat thread will probably come up in the results that you could find out/ask on...?? (Similar types of things came up last night when I was obviously not googling my hospital
)
How you doing Runner?"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
WTDN i had mine at Whiston, which is a teaching hospital for a Liverpool Uni (can't remember which one though) and it was a HyCoSy, done by ultrasound so combined with an internal exam.
I was told HyCoSys are easier (i forget how, maybe because no radiation) but with the same results so preferable so maybe it'll be the same in Liverpool hospital itself. x xLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

How you doing Runner?[/QUOTE]
hi all, well we went to the clinic yesterday, the lab has managed to lose one of my results, so i have to have bloods done again next week, but she has looked at all the rest and we can go ahead with a round of IMSI with ec about the 29th of nov, this time i will have to take steroids and clexine as well as the other injections and the testogel and i am having a mixture of Gonal F and Menopur, so i'm not looking forward to seeing how much this lot is going to cost
but at least i feel we are throwing everything possible at it, and i'm feeling happy that things are moving along again
hope you are coping ok BZ
hope you are ok today primmer and get some good news soon

Hello everyone!
Sorry results aren't looking great so far Primmer. Maybe things will yet improve with those surviving eggs.
Good to hear from you Runnerduck - wishing you all the luck in the world with this attempt. November will come round quickly.
Onestep - late you say? Well, let me emit a cautious and barely audible 'ooh' and perhaps an 'hmm.' I hope you can keep the crimson tide at bay. How hard can it be?!
I'm only CD16, haven't yet had a +ve OPK. Off on holiday in a week and a half, so will test on return (if AF doesn't show up to enhance the holiday fun.)

Bigzippy - I have read that FET is more successful than fresh these days. I'll try and find a link...It doesn't damage the eggs - not the same as throwing a loaf of bread in the freezer!! (Can you tell I'm not a scientist?!). Certainly a fair few of the BFPs on this thread have come from FET.
Anyway, let me tell you an IVF story:
A woman I know at work, TTC without success for several years. Turns out she did not OV and DH had low sperm count. So they did IVF (fresh) - it worked! 2 years later, they went back for more (FET) and it also worked - twins! Convinced IVF was the only way she could get pg, she didn't use contraception - got pg 3 months later and her 4th and last arrived idc. 4 kids in 4 years!0
