Personally I appreciate the input of graduated ladies here as experience and knowledge is always good to have and you're lovely enough to be sensitive
I on the other hand feel bad for being here as I'm not as far down the track as other ladies and feel I have nothing to add but emotional support and admiration for you very strong ladies who just keep on truckingx x

(is is you, tomorrow, right?
)
Thanks Fluffnutter, that makes more sense (and is less scary than going through the belly like the FS told me yesterday!_pale_)"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
Hi,
I had my doctor's appointment today. After 2 years finally I get to see the specialist and he sends me to do to more scans and to schedule the next appointment, no treatment. the next appointment available was in November.
The scans have to be done in the first days of the period and I will start a new job next month..Also I have complained to the doctor that I get my period once in 3-4 months so it's difficult not getting any treatment and waiting to do the scans ... and he said if it doesn't come than reschedule the appointment
I feel so annoyed, I am annoyed on people telling me that that's how it is because the NHS is free ... it's not so free as I pay loads of taxes from the salary every month !
I am going abroad private next summer as I am wasting years here, I am 33 and I know it may sound crazy for some people but if it doesn't happen in the next years I will give up. I am already depressed / tired and I don't feel that I would have the necessary energy at 40 ... but that's just me0 -
I feel the same
ThanksI'm working out my standard issue response as we speak
How did they get to your eggs then? I'm more than a little intrigued now...
Up your doodah like normal. Like I said on the other thread, I've had IVF with full tubes blocked with adhesions, with one tube that was surgically opened (but still clearly faulty) and most recently with no tubes at all, makes no odds to the collection. Ive had EC under GA and sedation also (I was quite awake) so I can tell you a fair bit about what goes on, but I won't unless asked as people may not to wish to hear it. When I have had GA they always say to you, if there are complications then we may have to access the eggs via the abdomen but this is just a routine consent thing and I have never actually come across anyone who had had this done, and I am a long term member on a few IVF forums.
It still sucks big time, I know2 angels in heaven :A0 -
Ahh bless you, I don't know how you do it, you are a tower of strength. Are you going to try anything different this time, have you done assisted hatching??
I will stick around for a bit longer but will always be checking on you all
Not strong, just damn stubborn :-)
We usually make blastocysts, so there is no need for AH but this last time we did not make the grade for some reason. I'm hoping it was just one of those things rather than a decline in general quality due to age or some other factor, we will have to see what happens in Jan, if quality looks to be an issue I will ask about AH but I hope we can make it to blasts again. If only for the fact that the 2ww is shorter!2 angels in heaven :A0 -

Problem is, now the FS I saw (not my usual precise one) was probably wrong about that, I'm now wondering what else she might've been wrong about..."I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -

PartMouse - welcome to the thread and congrats on your wedding
Mess - welcome, the nhs system can be really frustrating and waiting times etc do vary from area to area but when you just want to get on with things and you always seem to be waiting for the next steps.
AFM - I have scan tomorrow morning to see if stimm injections have worked and if it had worked I should be having egg collection on Monday!0 -
Primmer is this your first scan? How long have you been stimming for? Very often you will have to go back a few days later for another progress scan before they book you in for EC, the first one just gauges your response and they may cHange your doesage based on the results.
Good luck2 angels in heaven :A0
