TTC40, yes, leaving it to nature is near impossible, too many abnormal sperms and not enough numbers that are moving:(
For all we know, even the 'normal' looking sperms could be abnormal inside. That may be one of the reasons none of the embryos work:(

I suppose I could give it few more tries, but even if I did get pg, it may end in mc again.
I know it's better to try and fail than not to try at all:o
nicki, yes my 41st birthday is coming round soon:o
I'm getting too old for this.
    MV, hello there:wave:
I think adoption or using donor sperm is not an option. He didn't even like IVF:o If we can't have a baby naturally (now includes ivf) then that's it in his books.
    onestep, that's a beautiful holiday cottage:happyhear
Bigzippy, yes, I think this time out is a good thing:)
Good luck with norethisterone, I've taken it few times, and I've never had any side effects. Maybe weight gain:think:

Yay for the baby making plan and well done on your weight loss:T Any piccie of your shoes please?:p

Anybody got any views on this?
Doesn't implantation spotting happen few days after implantation?

QQ - FS kept stressing that the metformin and the clomid need to be taken after a meal so I'll no doubt interpret that as an excuse to eat more - don't want to get dizzy!
Yep, don't want to get dizzy:p
My dizziness lasted nearly 24 hrs:shocked:
Was fine walking around, but had to be careful. Don't think anyone noticed:cool:

As far as I know and I must be passed that now. I have read it could be the progestrone making me having the spotting, so back to hoping and praying.

I had my GTT this morning (to see if my impaired glucose tolerance had improved since losing 4st) so couldn't take noriwotsit with food last night and felt sick and dizzy. Hoping that's why and it'll get better taking it with food. Also concerned about weight gain being a side effect, but if I really do get to do the HSG on 14 august then I should only be on it for a 3 week course...

QQ, when I say "shoes" I really mean Converse trainers :D Sooo comfy, and there's a few sales on atm. I was struggling to choose between them :p

    Juju, really hope it's IB/breakthrough

Tealover, the metformin tells me to take with food, but I don't always do so at night, and haven't noticed a difference - but I've been on it 18 months now. No idea about clomid though :)

Juju, I've heard people who are on medicated cycles tend to bleed, so I think it's fine:)

Bigzippy, I'd assume the dizziness came from not taking it with food:o
By the way, my PCO is gone at the mo:cool: It's probably because of the medicated FET and those egg collections:o
Hope that means I'll ov early...

jujugaboo - hope you are feeling ok during your TWW. Spotting can be a sign of implantation so fingers crossed.

I didn't get any signs with my BFP. I thought my period was coming as I was having really bad cramping pains.

My nipples were pointy and my boobs were a bit veiny, but I didn't think anything of it at the time due to the Utrogestan and estrogen tablets I was on.

I didn't get and still don't get morning sickness.

QQ - I am very sorry to hear about your embies. When I had my single embie put back in on day 2 he said that he didn't want to risk leaving it any later and wanted it back in asap. I hope you get to relax during your IVF break. I waited 10 months between my 3rd and 4th attempt.

I think I'll ask for my embies to be replaced earlier if there is a next time:o

Glad you don't have morning sickness:cool:

Happy birthday Juju!! Hope you've had chance to enjoy the weather..

Cd1 for me. No change there then ;) No treatment in the offing; we've decided that IVF isn't for us. So there we are. 1 m/c, 1 DD, 2 m/c, 1 failed IUI. Over 10 years. Not a lot really..

If you girls fancy a nose at the holiday cottage we've just finished, head over to FB, and search for Thalassa Holiday cottage. I've put some photos up. Now all we need are some bookings and I won't have time to worry which cd I'm on, and whether DH is in the same county!!

    hugs xx

Sorry about CD1, onestep. I feel your pain - I've never had a m/c mind you, but in 7 and a half years of TTC - inc. 15 months on Clomid, 12 months of ovulation induction, an HSG and a lap and dye - I have had just the one (albeit v. cute y-chromosoned) BFP, for which I thank the heavens every day. I was 39 yesterday, so it's not looking good for a repeat.

I'll have a look at that cottage - I keep booking holidays to take my mind off the BFNs - usually in the Med, but maybe a change of tempo one of these days...!

Happy birthday for yesterday chickpea :D how old is your LO? I thought there was a cap of 6 months for clomid?

    Juju : how you doing?

QQ: apparently dizziness, nausea, etc can be side effects, so we'll see how I go. I'm having my iron count checked again next week so I'll find out how much is to do with the anaemia then, too. Are you reunited with DH now?

    ETA:
One step: cottage looks lovely :T

I finally have my appointments straightened out. HSG 14th august. Return to FS 4th September, with a TV scan half hour before appointment. I should, if the tests are clear, get clomid at the appointment :D Maybe I will get that illusive BFP before Christmas....just *maybe* :o

At least I'm on the "right" track again now, after so long of being sat next to the track wasting time watching (seemingly) everyone else sprint past... :)

And the noriwotsit has done it's job and AF's finally gone :j :D
