Good luck for your scan on Thursday Sarah

Chickpea, don't talk to me about Christmas:o
TTC, you are right of course, 5 months is an eternity away:D
AFM, the eggs are not doing well, out of the 2 mature ones, only one is prodding along, of the 8 immature ones, again only one has survived so far.
2 out of 10:(
Anyway... I have ordered some DHEA tablets:cool:
The only time I got a frozen blasto was after taking DHEA tabs for 2 months, so I think I'll try that again:cool:0 -
Good luck Sarah, hope you get to hear the heartbeats.
Sorry QQ that only 2 are doing well, as we always say it only takes one good one, fingers crossed.
AFM - Had a lovely weekend in London with OH and went to see Jersey Boys which was really good. I have a scan tomorrow morning to see how my lining is doing after 10 days of progonova, 23 days I have been down regging for now and getting cheesed off with it and I haven't even started my steroids yet. When will this cycle end??
OH and I actually decided what we are doing at Christmas this year at the weekend, normally every year we have arguments and drama with my Mum but this year I think she will be happy that we are going to hers, she doesn't even know it yet.BEST WIN LAST YEAR - MULBERRY HANDBAGSENDING STICKY VIBES TO THOSE WHO NEED THEM

I appreciate what you're getting at ttc40, however, just as there are other things in my life which are good, there are also other things in my life that make me (& DH) dread Christmas - this year in particular. Acknowledging that fact doesn't make me less of a positively outlooking person, as a prospective parent or not.Ladies, please don't dread something that's 5 months away.
I know we are all on this thread because we share the same desire to have a baby, but remember there must be other things in our life which are good too - when we do have our baby, we want them to have a positive outlook on life - let's start with us.
Also, acknowledging the things that I will likely struggle with enables me to come up with some coping strategies etc, where necessary. 'Hope for the best, plan for the worst' - as they say.
QQ - sorry to hear about the eggs - hopefully they remaining two will fare better.
If not, would you plan any more ECs straight away, or would you want to leave it for a couple of cycles? You didn't really want to do this cycle originally, did you? Are you feeling better physically now?
Good luck Sarah
Juju - I don't really understand much or what you said, but if I had to guess I'd say you were taking something to make your hormones do something like bring on AF??
AFM, I still don't have an appointment through for the hsg
I'm gonna have to ring and chase it again and I'm getting sick of it. Stupid thing is that they're still on about booking it so far in advance that I've no idea if I'll be bleeding again/still by whenever they'd let me have it...which would then mean I couldn't have it done anyway! So I'm completely unconvinced it'll get done before the FS appt  I've got AF again already, and it's been randomly alternating between full flow and spotting-which is getting annoying and making me fear that this AF might be like the last, which started much like this and went on for 8 weeks
Am I right in thinking a lap + dye can be done at any point in your cycle?"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
The 2 eggs are still 'alive' today, don't know for how much longer:o Can't call them every day, so next call will be on the 21st:oQQ - sorry to hear about the eggs - hopefully they remaining two will fare better.
If not, would you plan any more ECs straight away, or would you want to leave it for a couple of cycles? You didn't really want to do this cycle originally, did you? Are you feeling better physically now?
Oh, and my next IVF (if we still want to do one) will be in Dec, as I need to work:D
I think I was right in thinking this was not a good cycle, as I had medicated ET cycle just before this. Took a lot of pills, and didn't produce eggs or progesterone last cycle:(
Physically, even if I had time and money, I wouldn't do another EC next cycle, as I need at least one cycle for my ovaries to recover. It is still a bit sore, and I don't think it will produce good eggs next cycle if it's sore:o
Sorry to hear you are still bleeding (((hugs))), I've never done lap, but I think it's the best op to have as it can fix things:cool:0 -
Fingers crossed QQ and call them everday if you want there your eggs and your paying for it.
Scan went well today lining is 8.4mm and they are going to do ET on Thurs! Wasn't prepared for it to be that quick, so steroids started today and I am hoping that its going to work quick enough to kill my NK Cells (I have always taken them for 2 weeks before transfer). I only have 1 2 day 4 cell embie so i am just hope its survives the thawing process otherwise its all been for nothing. I will find out tomorrow if it all systems go.BEST WIN LAST YEAR - MULBERRY HANDBAGSENDING STICKY VIBES TO THOSE WHO NEED THEM

Fingers crossed for your 2 eggs too QQ. xxSPC 18 Target £200 /0 -
Good luck juju!
And I'm with her, QQ, I think I'd struggle not to ring"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
Q - hope they mature well. A cycle off seems logical (probably both physically & mentally).
Juju - everything crossed for you for Thursday. Hope you've got a few days rest plannned.
CD1 here. Was hoping that as I'd had some endometriosis cleared with the lap it would improve period pain, but it doesn't seem that's happened. It was really painful last month but I put that down to being a couple of days after the lap.
Post surgery appt with FS tonight. Not really expecting to much other than a general check. Think he will probably talk about when we should go back to do IVF if we don't conceive natrally, but I'm not sure yet if I want to go down that route (OH will go along with whatever I choose, but don't think he's keen on IVF either).0
