congratulations sillysausage :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
we have got back from the clinic this morning, they cannot find a reason why it failed again as on paper things looked good, so now we are having some more tests, oh is having a chromasome test and i am having some blood clotting tests, once they come back, if they don't show any new problems we are going to go for a cycle of IMSI which can lower the risk of early m/c. i will also take steroids from the start. have just been by the surgery to book all the tests, and they have agreed to do them on the NHS which will save £400just a waiting game now and oh's test can take up to 10 weeks to come back :eek:

I just want to pop on for a scream, cry, rant etc etc.
Now i don't want to take away from Sillysausage's BFP, cos it is amazing news. :j:j
I went into work today to be told ANOTHER one of the women is pregnant. Now i know people around me will and do get pregnant and i cant do anything to stop it. But it hurts so much. I have been so calm since my BFN but i just cant get the image of this girl out of my head. And i am sure my friends will only take so much of me being upset and talking about how much it hurts.
I know this girl hasn't been trying for long, has an older child from a previous relationship so i know this is about her and her new hubby. But she is 6 weeks gone and is already whining to my manager. It's a long story and she has had a lot going on. But don't try for a baby then spend all the time whinging and whining and complaining. :mad:
Anyway I have spoken to the clinic and although we can start the next IVF asap, i have to have this month as a withdrawal, which means i won't be having the EC and ET until the end of Aug, which feels like ages. Although I am really going to try not to get hung up on my treatment, and enjoy the next few months with my hubby. Well i am going to try my hardest.
Sorry for this, i just needed to get it off my chest. I know everyone has their own story and i know we are all desperate, and i know i probably haven't suffered as much as some. I am not expecting any answers or any replies, i just needed to vent.SPC 18 Target £200 /0 -
Congrats SS! Wonderful news!
ETO - hugs. Hopefully you'll feel better once you're focussed on the IVF again.Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o0 -
Just popping in to say Congrats to Silly Sausage!! That is great news.
We will be starting our 9th IVF cycle next month with the addition of endometrium 'scraping' on top of the immune treatments/steroids/blood thinners etc etc. Can't say we haven't tried it all eh?2 angels in heaven :A0 -
:j YAY sillysausage! :j CONGRATULATIONS! All the very best for your next 9 months and beyond!
ETO has AF turned up for you now or did you test early or something? I know full well I've not been through a fraction - TTC wise - that most of the ladies on here have, but I know what you mean :cool: hopefully the august treatment (if not the natural cycle in between?) will be just the right time for you. Try and enjoy the time in between with your OH - maybe by doing something you wouldn't ordinarily do with him, or that you wouldn't let yourself/be able to do while on treatment/pg? Roller coasters or something??
Fingers crossed for lucky number 9, lisa
Some friends of ours have just broken up their marriage (out of the blue and not mutual, I don't even think the husband actually wanted to break it up, but that's another story) last night. We saw both of them, between us, today. Going from what I knew/saw before, and what they've both said today, and that they have 2 kids under 6, I don't know whether to envy them or pity them!I obviously don't envy them the relationship dramas, and the issues surrounding all that, but I do envy them the young family.
I think/know that me and Dh have a much stronger relationship than them, and I'm eternally grateful for that, but we're missing the children... They have the children but having major relationship issues, and the father rarely gets to see his kids (more reasonable sounding excuses involved here), and if the split is permanent then I can't see him seeing them much more than he does now, if not less... It all just seems topsy turvy to me :cool::o
...I know I'm longing for more, but I do appreciate what I have:):o (remind me of this when I want to wring his neck!
)

hi all, i have not read the whole thread but wanted to add that i had 8 miscarriages and an ectopic, lost my tube! i researched and started taking evening primrose oil, large doses, and i fell pregnant, my consultant laughed when i told him and said it was poppy !!!! but i think it worked for me and may well be worth a shot, sorry if thats already been mentioned, but i dont have time to read the whole thread, good luck to all the ladies trying and congrats to all who achieve.xx0
