Sounds interesting Runner and hope you get the results back soon, we had our chromosome tests done and they came back clear in 6 weeks. I have not heard of IMSI but I fear my eggs are not great along with OH sperm not great, they always say they will pick the best swimmers. Have you been tested for high NK cells?

QQ - think i will be following the same cycle shortly.

MrsH - hope the next 4 weeks whizz by.

I now have a 4ww for results to see if I carry any of the CF gene changes. She has said that even if I do we could still try icsi as they can check genetics before transfer.
Good luck, sounds like you have found a good clinic:cool:

no, according to what we have been told it could still be the sperm, as under normal icsi they cannot look at them closely enough, but with this they can check the dna of the sperm before injecting it, and apparently according to our consultant they look at the head, and a lot can have spaces in the head and that will result in the embryo failing, and since they have failed to find any other reason for ours not working, we think it is worth a try, at least we will find out if they have dodgy heads or not :o

hope you are ok BZ, my af's are always that heavy, but thankfully only last a week at most, have you tried a femme cup (a brilliant invention) it will give you longer away from the bathroom :o

Ah, ok, a better more in depth look at them for selection then?

Yes I have a mooncup, but am relatively new to it and chop and change between what I want to use still. My AFs are usually heavy too, to varying degrees, when they're behaving! so when they're not - like the last months-worth has been - then it gets me down, cos I know that all is not well :o

ETO has AF turned up for you now or did you test early or something?

AF has turned up, on Tuesday, so just got to wait it out now. But am doing ok, can't change it so got to look forward. we are going on holiday in July/ Aug as the clinic will absolutely not bring the next IVF forward a month, so looking forward to that.

Countrybum - hopefully AF won't show. :) but i know when you are waiting for it, it just feels like an age, especially when you are so close to booking your appts.

QQ - good luck with the FET. Will be thinking of you with fingers and toes crossed. i found it more stressful than the fresh but only because i was worrying about the thawing process.

BZ - sorry things really aren't good for you at the mo. ((Hugs))

And ((hugs)) for all of us, who would have thought it was this difficult, after how many years of being told to be so so careful.
I know we don't want loads of preganant teens, but really they should tell you how hard it actually can be.
