    Thanks everyone :o

ETO & SS - still keeping my fingers crossed for you both

Chickpea - I'm in complete agreement about the "queue jumpers" I don't know why I bother having a facebook account these says, the amount of people I've hidden/blocked for being too fertile ;):o

QQ - not tried it yet. I was really sceptical at first, and them wrapped up in other things, and now I'm just plain barely sleeping :o:cool: I am thinking about doing it on the next cycle, if only because I'm still not sure what to call cd 1, what with all this spotting/full flow/nothing at all going on.

I still have an hsg and a cd21 blood test to squeeze in before I see FS at the end of Aug, but cba just yet and wouldn't know when to go/arrange for either atm!

It's getting on my nerves now. I haven't had a single drop since last night's appearance of full flow for a few hours! So irritating. I just want a full on heavy AF now, so I can start fresh.:o I'm gonna do an hpt ic in the morning I think, just to give me peace of mind before I go to the emergency dentist, cos I'll probably need an xray.

Good luck for the scan QQ, hope everything's progressing as it should

Sarah - could you have ov'd later than first thought? Hope you get an (the right one!) answer soon

Primmer - when's the info evening? Any further on with the hsg booking?

QQ - hope scan goes well today

Sarah - hugs, it's horrible waiting for af to show when you are getting bfn but nothing else happening. Could you be testing too early?

BZ - my ivf info evening is on weds which I am looking forward to. No hsg test yet as hospital can never do it when I call, phoned on thurs at cd1 was told not working on tues as a bank holiday and following tues is too late so to call again on next cd1 which means it will be 4 months when I call next and still no guarantee that I will get the test. I hope your bleeding sorts itself out so you know where you are in your cycle. Sending hugs to you.

That sounds so frustrating Primmer! I think I'd be doing my nut by now! do you have regular cycles, and could predict when cd1-10 would be and book it in advance - canceling if you got it wrong, or a bfp?

chickpea, hope you enjoyed your Neal's yard (((hugs))).

    ETO, (((hugs))):(

Sarah999, no AF is always a good sign:)

Primmer, that HSG appt system sounds flawed:mad:
There must be an easier way than that.
Can't you just get it now and not TTC this cycle?

AFM, my lining was thick enough at 8.6mm (should be more than 8mm at CD10):j
Next appt is just the blood test to check hormone levels, and it's on Thursday (CD14):)

ETO - so sorry, it must be awful. One question - have you been tested for natural killer cells? Might be worth getting it done before you spend more money on IVF. Apologies if you have already done this - can't keep up with everyone's story....

Hi Sarah, it isnt something i have had done, to be honest, all i know is that i am/ we are unexplained. I will have a look into this and mention it to the clinic and see what they say.

QQ - hope the blood test shows everything is as is should be.

Primmer - you must be so frustrated with the hospital. I hope the IVF evening goes well.

Sillysausage - still thinking of you.

Wow you ladies are quiet! It's kinda spooking me! :p

    How you doing SS? ETO?

Good luck at the info evening tonight Primmer :)

AFM, still spotting/AF as and when it feels like it and has been for just over a month now  just finished antibiotics for my tooth issues and others for my water infection, so I'm hoping they've both done the job and I won't need any more  I've got a cold/virus too though atm, so hoping that doesn't develop into anything nastier...it woke me up in hot sweats this morning  hoping it's just all the ibuprofen I've been taking for my toothache that's causing my asthma to flare :o

While I know that physically and emotionally we've a lot to recover from, following mil's death, and I know (logically speaking) that in some ways we're better off not being pg for a while to deal with it...I (we) still yearn for it so much, I can't help but think about it. :o I think me and dh will really, really struggle at Christmas if yet another child/bump less Christmas goes by and we don't have MIL either :(:o

How's your MIL doing now, btw QQ?

Hey ladies, hope you are all doing as well as you can be.

Sorry I haven't been back since I first started posting here. OH had a bit of a delayed reaction to the news his SA was bad and has been very down on himself. Spent the last 2 months trying to cheer him up!

Finally got a letter from the fertility clinic (2 months after referral) with an appointment for a consultation. After nothing happening for 2 months everything has suddenly sped up again as the appointment is in 3 weeks and they have given us a list of tests which need doing so the results are ready for the consultation. 2 of my bloods had to be done today so thankfully the docs squeezed me in (have to go back next week for the rest).

Couple of questions- The letter says at the consultation I will need a vaginal ultrasound so if you want to change the date let them know. I obviously don't want to have to put the appointment back but AF is due 2 days after. What do they entail? Do you think that would be ok or is it too close for comfort?

Plus, do I have to tell my employer? I will need the whole day off and as I am a teacher will need cover. If my employer asks do I have to tell them or can I just say I have a medical appointment?

    Thanks for your help :)

Sneezyboots, they can do that scan when/if you're preg or have AF or anything in between, so if you're fine with having it that day I'd just go along with it. It shouldn't normally hurt, and most women they find it better and more dignified than a smear.

What do you normally tell them when you have a medical appointment? You don't *have* to tell them anything you don't want to, and anything you do say should be confidential, I would've thought.

Bigzippy, hope antibiotics has done its job, and your cold and asthma will be over soon, and hope we'll all have a bump by Christmas:)

As for my MIL, her heart op was successful, but she's still not back to her usual self and she now has hives all over:shocked:
Don't know the reason for it, but she's not in a good mood:lipsrseal

sneezyboots, I've had a vaginal scan as early as CD2, so I think it's fine as long as you are fine with it:o
  • Hi Guys, went back to the hospital to have my test... BFP!!!! In total shock, but so pleased!

I have to go back at the end of the month to make sure everything is where it should be.
