Thanks. It's kind of ironic that now I've found (hopefully) the cause of all my miscarriages and am raring to go, I can't fall pregnant. Usually it's the first month of trying. Gah.0

In case that came across as insensitive to anyone who is TTC 12+ but doesn't know my position - sorry.... I do get pregnant easily but I can't carry them past a few weeks in. Hope that clears it up!0

Hi everyone I'm new to this thread but I was trying to find out if anyone is in a similar situation to us so I could ask for some advice. We need to go down the route of artificial insemination as my OH had a failed vas reversal. We are looking out of the UK due to costs and at the moment we have looked at Denmark & Spain, with Spain seeming to come out more expensive but probably the better option as my parents live there so saves on hotel/foods etc. Has anyone here got any experience with Denmark or any of the clinics in Valenica?
And if I've posted this on the wrong thread sorry!0 -

Hi Magpie - I can't help you with looking into experiences abroad sorry. But I am in the same position with regard to the failed vasectomy so I feel your pain. If I am being too nosey tell me to mind it, but was just curious about if you have looked into IVF/ICSI in England (possibly donating eggs to reduce costs) or you are definitely looking for a donor, and you want one abroad. Is this because you want the anonymity? I did find a good website here where you make a private individuals and there does seem to be a few that will literally just donate sperm and want no further involvement.
Sorry I can't help with the actual questions and sorry for prying, just none of my friends have gone through any issues so you ladies are the only people I can turn to who truly understand.
Sorry to hear that Sarah. Hope it happens soon.
Good luck the other ladies! Hope to hear some more happy news soon. xxxI'm never offended by debate & opinions. As a wise man called Voltaire once said, "I disagree with what you say, but will defend until death your right to say it."

Really sorry to hear that Sarah.
And I don't have any advice for you Magpie as i have no experience of your situation. Hope things work out for you though.SPC 18 Target £200 /0 -
Bluemeanie wrote: »Thanks for your help. Is SA a sperm assessment? He had that done at Docs from ejaculation and it was zero. I can only surmise that after his allegedly "successful" reversal it sealed up, like they warned could happen. I wanted it extracted and tested first to see if it was ok to use for IVF/ICSI. I didn't want to have tests until I'd found that out. Oh well, can't have everything you want I suppose.
I meant sperm analysis - which it seems you have had.
I can't advise further on IVF/ICSI as I haven't gone there.0 -
Hi ladies
I've been a bit awol as nothing really to report in the run up to my gynae visit (which was today) - finally I feel like I am getting somewhere, and going for an HSG and some more blood tests, and had a swab for something or other done today.
Just need to find some new sperm now our donor has moved abroad!
Anyway - I just really popped by to ask a question for those that have an HSG - the doctor I saw today was acting in the place of the consultant that I would normally see, and she prescribed me Azithromycin to take AFTER the HSG (and that's written on her notes adn on the medicine) - but the notes from the hospital about the procedure say to take it before... anybody know which it is? I have 4 tabs to take it looks like!
TY and hugs to all xxBaby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j0
