Well I had to go in for another scan this morning, according to the nurse today I don't have a big follicle at all think it was a blood vessel they were looking at yesterday?!! but I do have 3 small ones biggest being 7mm. They want me to continue stimming until Tuesday then come in again for another scan they will then make the decision then.
Fingers crossed the follicle will grow:)
The good news is if they do abandon this cycle it wont count towards my tries which was the thing that was bothering me the most.
Now relax and grow those follicles:D

At least they are giving these little follicles a try.

I hope they are growing for you, if not at least it doesn't count towards your tries otherwise that would be a real bummer.

Had a lovely weekend in London for my Mum's 60th and now I am knackered. Early morning scan tomorrow followed by Drs appt to see how Vit D levels are, no more tests that are going to cost me money please.

Juju - hope scan and doctors appointment goes ok.

SS - hope your follicles continues to grow.

I have been in touch with secretary to fs and explained my increasing frustrations about not being able to have hsg due to their lack of available appointments and how I was concerned how this was delaying our referral to fertility unit for ivf. Secretary has said that because we will need to pay for the ivf she doesn't think it will be a problem to refer me whilst I wait for hsg test and she is going to speak to fs - cant believe how much this news has cheered me up! Keeping fingers crossed that fs will agree and put in the referral.
  • Runner - Hope your ok?

Jujugaboo - Good luck with scan and Dr's. Fingers crossed for you that you dont have to have any more tests!

Primmer - Thats really good news, bet you were getting really frustrated with the lack of appointments grrrr!!

Got my scan tomorrow, fingers crossed they have grown a bit (though they do need to grow more than a bit), I can certainly feel things happening down there!

It's a difficult one because it depends on implantation. Even though you know the date of fertilisation the hcg won't start rising and being detectable until the embryo actually implants and who knows when this happened. Could be day 1 (after transfer), could be day 7 (for example).

It's a real shame your clinic didn't offer a series of blood tests; you'd have your answers by now. I really, really feel for you and I've got everything crossed for a positive outcome. Some little ones are just slow starters :)
