Do you know, I only ever come on here now to see how some of you old lags (yes, I do mean "lags"!) are doing, and if anyone's testing!

I am close to AF/testing on 5th cycle of OI - I sense AF - and I'm thinking of cancelling cycle 6 - is there really any point? I'm a betting woman, but I know when something's a lost cause - not feeling sorry for self, just realistic - I don't see the point. £775 is a lot to bet on a lame donkey!

    CONGRATULATIONS RUNNER DUCK!! :j:T:j :D

    Good luck tomorrow QQ

Chickpea, I hope you find a conclusion that you and your OH are both at peace with. I don't recall your story :o but is there another option that would be a viable alternative?

Primmer, this cd10 thing sounds like their way of safeguarding against doing the procedure on a post-ov/pg lady. I reckon the FS should be able to over rule it, if you ask nicely and promise to be celibate ;) or if it's a matter of you only being a day or two over the cd10, I'd be tempted to tell them cd1 was a couple of days later than it was, iyswim...? :o My hsg was booked for cd22, after all!

AFM, I've quite enjoyed some NTNP time. Being able/free to take the painkillers I've needed for some shocking joint and toothache has been very necessary, and of course there was some "medicinal" beverages at the funeral, and for my birthday celebrations that were delayed. ;) I'm at a family 21st party this weekend too, although (if I actually managed to ov) I should have full flow AF by then anyway, if this spotting is anything to go by (which it isn't, always!). I'm kinda looking toward to the fresh start of a new cycle tbh, weird as that may sound.:o

Dh admitted that he was feeling the pressure of our time running out with MIL, with regards to TTC, too - so at least we're feeling a little ttc-stress relief, now she's gone -as horrible as that may sound :o I've put the FS appointment back to the end of august now (from may) so it'll give us more time to get the hsg, remaining cd21 test, and further weight loss done, as well as to regroup mentally and emotionally from the ordeal of the last 6 months.

I'm actually looking forward to eating properly and healthily again! :p I feel like a right lard !!!! right now - and although I've not weighed in for a couple of weeks I can't have put on more than half a stone at most, and am still 3st at least lighter than I was - I can feel these extra lbs and bloat :o ...time to get rid of them!

BZ - good to hear from you and fully understand that having pressure taken off has helped. You have done so well with your weight loss and sure you will continue to lose more as things settle down again. Hope you can get all your tests done before fs appointment and that af will bring you a fresh start.

Brought the letter from fs to work with me today and an going to see if I can speak to her over the phone about getting hsg done and whether she can refer us to fertility clinic for private ivf whilst we are waiting as her advice is that we should go for ivf whatever the hsg result.

    Congratulations Runnerduck!!!:j

    Chickpea,
do what you think best:o I'm a realistic woman too, except when it comes to ttc:o I know it's a matter of time before I wake up to reality:o

Bigzippy, glad you had some NTNP time:) August is very close:)

AFM..., FET was cancelled due to me not having the required progesterone levels at 5DPO:cry:

With the next cycle I'm going to be on lots of medication, so the FET will be done on schedule either on the 11th or the 15th of June fingers crossed:o

Oh no! You poor love. I guess that means you have to wait another month? I assume your embryo is still safely in the deep freeze, waiting for you to achieve optimum ripeness?

How b****dy frustrating QQ! It takes such an emotional toll just to think that things will be happening in a given month, and then to have to cancel at the last moment and start again the following month just ratchets the stress levels up. At least you know however that your clinic is monitoring things very closely and when the transfer does actually happen that all conditions will be optimum.

Have you taken the day off work anyway in expectation that you would be having the procedure? If so, I'd be tempted to try and book some pampering and have a mega stress busting day.
