we are back from ec, they got 10 but 1 is immature so they are injecting the other 9 now and will let us know how they get on in the morning, 3 more eggs than last time so we just have wait and hope that they fertilize well

Saw FS at the weekend about blocked tubes.

He said we have two options -either unblock tubes or IVF.

He has put me on the waiting list for the tubes to be unblocked. He said this is initially flushing, then catheter & if neither of these does it, then through surgery. This will all take place at the same time under a general.

Waiting list is about 4 months.

I'm sure there are people on here who have had it done - how was it for you?

TTC40 have the tubes flushed before going down IVF route its long and emotional and expensive

Derby2 - sorry never used clomid so I cant help but I am sure one of the other girls can

Runner - greart news on EC, lets hope you get lots of fertilization and then get some frosties too. Fingers crossed.

CCM - great to have a plan of action, you feel so much more in control.

Ttc40 - sounds like getting your tubes unblocked could be the way to go for you, would be good if you could get it done on the nhs

we have had the call, we have 8 embies :j they want to take them to blastos as they are looking good, but they are ringing on thursday morning and if they don't think enough will make it to blasto we will have them put back on thursday, but she said as it looks now it will be saturday

Exciting news runner.

Meanwhile I am on 3 DPO according to FF, but I disagree and think I oved a day early. I hope I did anyway or we missed the actual dayof Ov to BD - got several days either side but I was out all day and most of the night on the crucial day. Oops. Am back on the steroids which are making me a bit mental, so hoping madly for pg this month so I can concentrate on getting to the end of the steroid course (at 12 weeks). Am restricting calories quite strictly and exercising to try to combat the almost instant weight gain I get with these drugs
