Hugs SK.. Hope the darker days get fewer and further apart. I know how that feels. Well, we all do, don't we? Cd 1 here. A couple of days earlier than expected, but not out of the way given that my last cycle was medicated. If we had the money I'd be starting downregging, but we don't. So I'm not. I had a txt from a friend of mine this morning.. His partner has had their baby this morning. And of course I'm happy for them, but so desperately sad for us.. All a bit dark at the moment, but then it is cd1. Am having lots of wine tonight!

Hugs to everyone. Let's get more BFP's on here!!

    Hi there!
Thank you for warm welcomes and congrats to cake4brains. I'm not familiar with your journey and I'd be interested to hear about it! X

I'm on cd 3 now and this is cycle 23 of proper ttc and cycle 43 of non prevention. I'm fast approaching my April due date for my list angel and it's very bl00dy hard!

I had been so hopeful that I'd be pregnant by the time the due date rolled around. Wishful thinking!

Hi maire, I shall give you my story in a nutshell (like someone else said it would be very handy to have these on the first page).

Im 35 OH 49. He had vasectomy reversal which was successful. After 1 year we were referred to FS because of our ages. SA were on the low side which might not have been a problem had I not had dodgy tubes! Told I have dilated fallopian tubes. Tried 6 rounds of Clomid. Were told only option now is self-funded IVF as OH has 2 children from previous marriage.

Went to Care Sheffield. Told my egg reserve is low and only treatment that will work is ICSI. Had 1 round of treatment which resulted in 3 fertilised eggs. Had 1 egg transferred in December 2011 which didnt work. 2 eggs were frozen which we had transferred 28th Feb.

Had lots and lots of symptoms which I was sure were the pessaries but got BFP. :j And no it still hasnt sunk in!

I have never been pregnant and honestly never thought it would happen to me and have been getting myself mentally prepared to look into adoption. Im absolutely terrified every minute of the day and keep telling myself this will work out and I will get my happy ending!

I wish with all my heart that all you ladies will join me soon

    Morning ladies,

I hope today is as easy as it can be for those of us not lucky enough to have our dreams yet.

I was doing so well till the end of the appt when I burst into tears, what an idiot.

Oh, lovey, I cried at every single one of my appointments at the fertility clinic. I'm crying now just thinking about it!

IVF was far easier physically-speaking than I thought it would be, but much more difficult emotionally.
