Thanks for the congratulations everyone. Had a little cry when I was reading them, so used to seeing them for other people its hard to believe they are for me this time

I hope you dont mind me sticking around. As strange as it is to say now, I dont really feel like I belong anywhere else. After being told I am infertile for the past 3 years I dont really know what category I fit into now:cool:
And although Im not superstitious at all I have found myself trying not to 'jinx' myself. Im starting to annoy myself already! A friend of the family offered me a brand new moses basket a few hours after I announced my BFP. She had twins and only ended up using 1 basket as they were so tiny. I said no straightaway as I didnt want to jinx myself but everyone said I was being silly
Anyway, I hope Maddie is right and she has started a huge bfp ball rolling :T:j:T Gorgeous twin girls born 1st Nov 2012 :T:j0 -

C4B - what absolutely fabulous news! Congratulations honey and here's to a happy and healthy 9 months :j
Please do stick around as it would nice to have updates from you on how things are going. I also don't blame you for feeling that you don't want to 'jinx' things, a friend of mine is being exactly the same - if its how you need to handle this then do it and don't worry about whether people think you are being silly or not. Just enjoy your BFP and don't worry about anything else.
Big hugs
Lets hope that you and Maddie spread a little babydust to the rest of us

Please spread the babydust its good to share.
Had my Zita West consultation and my appt at the clinic. We are having some more blood tests on Monday for both OH and myself to look at our
chromosomes to see if there is some problem there, then if thats all ok we are going to have a FET with the one embie we have got and then if that doesn't work we will probably have one more go (probably the last too) and maybe use fresh sperm this time instead of frozen. I was doing so well till the end of the appt when I burst into tears, what an idiot.
I have been so busy in my new job that it has taken a lot of the time away thinking about IVF.BEST WIN LAST YEAR - MULBERRY HANDBAGSENDING STICKY VIBES TO THOSE WHO NEED THEM

Cograts C4B - good to read some good news for a change!
Juju, I don't think a single one of us here would agree with you saying what an idiot for bursting into tears. You know it's justified. I truly have everything crossed for you.
We're no further forward really. We have an appointment with the Urologist to see if hubbys varicoceles can be treated to improve his sperm quality, but all UK research says otherwise so we're not holding out any hope (even though US studies say otherwise) I have him on an amazing cocktail of vitamins to see if that will improve things - I think we'll pay for a SA in 3 months to see if theres any improvement.
I'd be interested to know if anyone here has considered/tried Duofertility? We bought it (£500! ouch) whilst waiting to see if we were candidates for the moneyback guarantee (don't know if anyone knows anything about it?) Of course we're not eligible for the mbg due to DH's SA results and were going to send it back, but we've pretty much decided to hang on to it now anyway as it's something else to try for the year whilst we save for a round of ICSI.
Not even opened it yet tho as my cycle this month is messed up! Ran out of OPK's the day the line started turning darker (CD15 - very late for me) and was away for a hen do so no chance of getting more and testing. Days 19-23 had ewcm and now on CD 28 (again, late for me, I normally only get to CD27) I seem to have ewcm again!!!! I'm praying this isn't the start of my menopause (I have high FSH levels) And yes - before anyone asks, of course i've tested (even after 2 and a half years, I still go through at least 4 pg teasts every month -even once AF has arrived
)
Looooooong rambling post, sorry. It feels good to be back. The last few months have been very dark for hubby and I, and I didn't feel able to come in here.
SK xAfter 4 years of heartache, 3 rounds of IVF and 1 loss :A - we are finally expecting our miracle Ki11en - May 2014 :j
